Yes, and the creatives behind it are quite proud to have you dream of a white Christmas.
At our family gathering of around 20 - Everyone was talking about Lea's FG performance and as they called it the Neil Diamond show and asked me if it was as good as Jersey Boys but haven't seen Beautiful Noise or plan on it! I did tell everyone that Funny Girl is a must see with Lea Michele!

This is the most diverse the Rockettes have ever been. The girls were all always white.

I was so upset that she didn’t record a new version to lip sync to. She just (badly) lip synced to the original version from all those years ago

Loved all the numbers with the exception of a Beautiful Noise. That was pretty sad; I felt sorry for Will."
Notably, in 2020 NBC paid all the expenses of the performances, but we know why that happened.

Like many others, I loved the opening of the parade with "Funny Girl". It was good to see "Lion King" and as I mentioned in this thread before I was quite surprised it was the first time it every performed at the parade. Really enjoyed "Some Like It Hot" and the performance made me want to see the show. I like Neal Diamond but I am not a big fan of "juke box" musicals. I have this awful feeling that when "Sweet Caroline" is played in the show that the crowd will react like it is a concert and it will be a sing-along.
I finally got around to watching this after a looooong week. I love the parade and all it represents, nice day for it too.
Funny Girl - This was a great idea and started the parade off on such a high. Everybody looked great and Lea is a star, no way around it. Bravo!
The Lion King - The animals walking around midtown was kind of jarring but it's a classic, must see show for a reason. Forever creative and forever magical though for adults and kids alike.
Some Like it Hot - This show looks big, fancy and bold. I loved the dancing dearly and the two leads. I hope no know gave J. Harrison any sh*t because I will throw down. Fabulous.
A Beautiful Noise - One time during Murder Ballad, Will sat down at my bar table and stared at my cleavage because that is what his character would have done. That was a great day. I apologize. Anyways, Will looked soooo tired and the roadkill he was wearing on his head did NOT help him in any way. I found this performance to be awkward and weird, it just doesn't translate on the street. I was happy for everyone singing along and having a great time with it. The show is doing great and I'm sure it's awesome in the theater but for me, it was the weakest link.
Kimberly Akimbo/Almost Famous - Oh wait....They should have performed! They needed the help over The Lion King which will remain forever.
