wow for this season?  It'll be interesting if two paper mill shows come to broadway the same season, as The Great Gatsby is also looking to come in.

Besides the fact that I am a BIG fan of classic rock music, as I've said before on this board, I want to see one of my "ancestors" depicted on a Broadway stage! (My last name is Maresca, and one of Dion's collaborators, who notably co-wrote Runaround Sue, was named Ernie Maresca! HAHAHA!)

If Tommy sells out the Lunt for even one night I’ll be shocked. Doesn’t seem like the right house. Too big.

The Wiz will begin previews March 29 and officially open April 17 at the Marquis Theatre.

Tommy is not going to the Lunt. It's eyeing one of two houses that have a current tenant without an announced closing date. Same with Suffs (though my money is on Suffs going to the Music Box).

Is that Toronto production of JOSEPH still considering a transfer? Only asking because the rights to the show are currently blocked through 2024.

He's still attached - they wouldn't be doing it if he wasn't in it. They haven't opened ticketing yet so once they start selling you'll hear more.

Home from Roundabout plays May 17 to July 28, 2024, which puts it in the 2024-25 season.

Noticed today that, at least on the website, The Mousetrap has removed the references to a 2023 opening that was there a couple months ago. The social channels still have it, but it could be a more overt indication that it's pushing its run out.

Heard from a source that there is the potential of the play version of "The Exorcist" coming in with F. Murray Abraham and Katie Holmes. Came here to check if any of the regulars here heard the same but don't see any convos about it. One would think a horror-themed play would want the fall though...and Im not sure where it would find a home on such short notice. So perhaps its for next season instead.
