I could see how Sunset may be too difficult to do in terms of logistics, but Oh Mary could do very well if limiting to bigger cities (LA, SF, Chicago, Minneapolis, etc).
I’m sure Cole needs a break, but they are the main reason to see it and I don’t know if Escola would be so quick to turn down the opportunity (if it were offered). It would also be a fairly easy production to tour and they wouldn’t need to sell out Broadway-sized theaters to turn a profit.

I agree that Oh Mary won’t tour, but would play special engagements in Los Angeles, San Francisco or Chicago, it would be a nice money spinner for,Escola. Sunset has zero chance of touring with Nicole her job is now done, but think they could recast and the out of town promoters would be happy to pick up a Tony award winning musical.
CTG hasn’t announced there next season as such apart from Mamma Mia and an obscure new musical. Getting Oh Mary with Escola would be a big coup. Sunset wouldn’t be a coup, but the Ahmanson would be the perfect theatre for it, think it is 2 years off from playing there though.

Oh Mary in LA would be a dream. I could see Mincemeat and RWHC play there. That is, if RWHC is touring. The rest I only see at the Pantages like BVSC, DBH and maybe even Boop if it tours.

I could see Mincemeat and RHFC playing the 2026/27 season. But CTG has still shows to announce this season 3/4 shows, The Outsiders haven’t announced a stop in Los Angeles as yet, that would be great at the Ahmanson, along with Oh Mary, Totoro and maybe Water for Elephants.

Oh Mary is for sure already being shopped around to various theaters, but my understanding was the conversations had were for sit-down productions, none with Cole Escola attached per se (though, I believe there was room for conversation). I understand one west coast regional company turned down the opportunity already, possibly due to the political climate (the company is in one of the nation's biggest liberal bubbles, btw).

Oh I thought The Outsiders were playing the Pantages? Okay. Yes, personally I'd love it at The Ahmanson.

Nothing for the Outsiders has been announced for the West Coast as yet, however when they do it will be now next season. as this season is fully booked. So the Ahmanson still has 3/4 slots to fill this season.

As it ever been implied that Cole wants to do a production anywhere else, or have a production anywhere else without them?
I think Cole definitely wants a shot at the Olivier’s and a west coast premiere with west coast based performers seems like something they would do. The same producer, Kevin McCollum, sent the Peter Pan Goes Wrong play to LA via CTG pretty soon after its Broadway run.

I can see it in the West End more than I can see it in any sort of touring capacity
Not a tour, but Broadway in Chicago announced the last show in it upcoming subscription package. Timeline Theatre Company will be co-producing the Chicago premiere of Eureka Day following similar engagements of The Lehman Trilogy and Oslo. Timelines season also includes the Chicago premiere of Amy Herzog's adaptation of An Enemy of the People which will be the inaugural production at their new space in the Uptown neighborhood.
The Notebook, The Outsiders, and Suffs all begin rehearsals next week. We should be expecting cast announcements this week or next!

Does anyone have any insider information on casting? I can't wait!
For THE NOTEBOOK:
They’ve also split the Johnny/Fin track. The Fin track is now doubled as the grandson. On Broadway young Noah doubled as the grandson.

Those are just model performers or actors NETworks reused from one of their non-equity productions this past season.

There’s also The Music man going out on tour. It’s a new production? Says choreo by Josh bergasse, direction Matt lenz

The Ahmanson hasn’t announced its full season as yet, only so far an obscure play (Paranormal activity) and an old revival that has been touring the US for 20 years (Mamma Mia.) No new shows. When are CTG going to name the final 3/4 shows of the season.

New production. Big league productions. Take that as you will.

I think it's more of a mini-tour like Into The Woods was. A few stops here and there, but not a full-fledged tour.

The Music Man is a bus and truck non-equity tour that will exclusively play split weeks or singles. It is absolutely not comparable to the Into the Woods revival tour.
