Is Beetlejuice staying an equity tour for the next season or perhaps going non-eq after their Toronto stay?

If IBDB is to be trusted it looks like the last time Wicked was presented in Rochester was over 10 years ago. So, perhaps it’s been given a subscription slot for that reason.

That sounds about right. Wicked has always sold well in Rochester, and usually runs for multiple weeks. With the success of the movie, I'm sure it will do well again.

I would take the Tampa season that looks amazing over the Rochester season that seems to be a bit tepid. Suffs is the only show I would be interested in, Kimberley Akimbo and &Juliet seems old now, I wouldn’t want to be paying for Clue as part of a subscriptions. Even though Wicked has been gone 10 years I wouldn’t want that as part of a package, especially as I can pop down to Manhattan and see the original.

So when does the Center Theater Group announce their season? So I was thinking that CTG is more artsy than Broadway in Hollywood where you tend to get the bigger shows. But the CTG with their artistic announcement seem to pull a rabbit out of the hat. So when I was living in Los Angeles I remember there was a massive Asian demographic, so thinking that the CTG could this time pull a ‘Totoro’ out of the hat, this would go down a storm at the Ahmanson and would no question sell out, it would also be perfect for a pre Broadway engagement, where it will go.

I just paid for Clue as part of my Baltimore package for the current season (24-25), and found it to be hilarious and entertaining. I hadn't seen the show nor the movie, so I was going in blind and was pleasantly surprised. I liked it more than Book or Mormon, for sure, which I went it to expecting to be funny and it just fell flat for me. We also had &Juliet, which I really enjoyed. I had no problem paying for either.

The 2025–2026 Broadway @ the Ordway season for the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul, Minnesota has been announced:
Hmmm.... not as impressive as the Hennepin Arts season, and them getting Kimberly Akimbo would be a lot more exciting if the tour wasn't already going to be in Minneapolis this coming July. I'll still definitely try to see The Notebook, though.
