It's an AM New York (newspaper) deal. Any seat Tues-Fri for the first two weeks of previews.
Damn. I wish I lived in New York right now.
... in the entire theater?
Woah, what? Do you have to get the paper, and if so, will this paper be available on friday. And when are the first two weeks of previews?
^Previews start tomorrow.

AMNY is a free newspaper given out outside of subway stations. The newspaper is available every weekday, but I don't know if the ad will be in it again (it is the back cover). Offer available for March 6,7,8,9,13,114,15,16 all at 8 PM. It says to bring the ad to the box office, or visit Ticketmaster.com or call 212-307-4100 with the code AMNY25. And yes, it says ALL SEATS $25!
I just tried it and Ticketmaster turned up balcony tickets, which have in the past been $25 at the Hilton. They're $50 now. There's no way they're going to sell every seat in that theater for $25. That's insane. Maybe it'll only work for certain ones and just tell you everything else is sold out.
Was able to get Orch H for Friday, 16th---- $25 (+ surcharge), but still a great deal ! Thanks for posting code !
The show is offering $25 tickets in the entire house? Guess dem preview performances weren't selling too well...huh, kiddies? It's the kind of offer when you're desperate to get people INTO the theatre! Not good news. Not good news.
I give this show one solid month after previews before it shutters for eternity.
Such a shame, especially since I have a friend in the show. In the words of many Broadway diciples: "once a show closes, you just move on, hopefully onto another show". Quick show closures isn't a shock to them -- being in a hit show is.
As I've said before -- it's a show that should never have seen the light of day. It just won't find an audience, especially one to keep it running in today's Broadway reality.
Okay I agree with some of your points you've said other times about the show but honestly. Do you ****ing seek out these threads to incite your pessimism upon?

I looked for tickets several times using the code, and it would only give me balcony seats.
Just the title THE PIRATE QUEEN illicits pessimistic urgings in my loins.
Sorry.

Soon to be available for weddings, bar mitzvahs and mall openings:
B3ta, chill.

On the bottom of the ad, there is fine print that says "locations subject to availability". There's the rub...
I just got an Orchestra seat for tomorrow night for $25. Not bad! The price, that is. The show? Well, I'll let y'all know after I see it tomorrow night. Thanks for the discount code!

No problem. I figured it would be useful to both the show and you guys to get the deal out to actual theatre fans, instead of the "average Joe" who reads AMNY.
Oh dear...
Maybe I should choose an alternate show to see in June... you know... just in case...
Or, as many seem to think, pick another show completely, and have Pirate Queen as my alternate, just in case its actually still open!
I just got a $25 Orchestra ticket for tomorrow night (Tuesday) also... and it was cool that the theatre included the $1.25 in the $25. Then Ticketmaster took its chunk of flesh and it ended up costing me $34.95. I really hate Ticketmaster... that's a 33% fee!
So, anyone else going? BWW Meetup for a bite beforehand? :)
Ha. Thanks for the heads up on the discount, all. I just nabbed a front row ticket for tonight.
The advance for this show must be paltry.
This is actually a smart move.
Get the people in the theatre, let them see the show and decide for themself.
I think the word of mouth will sell the show.
already seeing it tonight (bought my ticket the first day of the presale thinking this was going to be a sellout), but also got my $25 ticket for next Friday, March 16th! very excited to see the changes during the preview period...
I feel bitter that I do not live in NY now more than ever.
