Maybe she's playing Judy.
I can definitely see her playing Judy rather than Doralee.

I can't believe people have been questioning whether Diana is "stacked" enough without padding to be Doralee. Only in comparison to Dolly Parton would this even come up. Didn't people see her in her in Toxic Avenger? She's pretty much all boobs and butt and I say that as a compliment. LOL

Wasn't Megan padded big time to give her the Dolly shape?

^ Not so much padded, as it was elevated if you get what I'm sayin...

Megan wore bra padding, a waist cincher, and butt padding for the hourglass shape.
It must have been tough to sing with all that.

Mamie is going to be awesome as Judy! She will surely sing the sh*t out of "Get Out..." and seems like a perfect fit for the role. I saw her as Mother in the final performance of Ragtime and she was unbelievable..Good for her! Hope to see more her in the future

i LOVE ken foys work. He designs for PCLO alot. explore the page I posted; he hasnt designed every show listed but off the top of my head I know he's done "Sound of Music", "White Christmas", HSM, HSM2, and "Annie".
BwayBen, Mamie was in the ensemble of the national tour of Legally Blonde. She was Paulettes understudy.

I loved the show on broadway, and I don't want them to change it that much. I understand that they have to downscale it for the tour, but I hope they at least keep the original concept. I am afraid we won't even recognize it as the same show, it will be too different!! Also, on wikipedia it says the tour will only feature 11 songs, does anyone know if this is true??

Since the big cast announcement didn't include any casting info on Joe, I'd guess that Let Love Grow is cut. As much as I enjoyed listening to Andy Karl, that song always felt a little out of place. It seems like there are a few more than "11 new songs" even if they take one out - The CD had 18 tracks, and if you exclude 9 to 5, the finale, and Backwoods Barbie, there are still 15 left. Cut out Let Love Grow and you're down to 14...Hmmmm...

Gregg Goodbrod is Joe. Does anyone know who the understudy for Judy/Doralee is (The Gaelen Gilliland Bway track)?

I think WickedFan is right about cutting some of the ensemble tracks...I know that Holly Davis is the understudy for Judy (but not for Doralee)
