Gina Beck should so play Christine in Love Never Dies.
David Shannon should so play the Phantom in Love Never Dies.

Don't know how well this would really work, but Sherie Rene Scott as Evita would be cool. I'm just imagining her belting the "He supports you for he loves you..." part, and I have no words to describe how amazing it feels.
Sorry to be 'that guy' but . . Laura Osnes as Glinda (Wicked).
Curious to know who your dream cast for an OLIVER revival would be . . ?

Matt Doyle. Pippin.
I would love to see Sutton Foster or Sierra Boggess play Belle in Beauty and the Beast
Laura Benanti as Nancy in Oliver
Donna Murphy or Meryl Streep as Rose in Gypsy
Patti Lupone or Sherie Rene Scott as the Witch in Into the Woods.
Nathan Lane should so play Fiorello LaGuardia in "Fiorello" and Professor Harold Hill in "The Music Man" (though not at the same time.)
Carol Burnett as Diana in Next to Normal
Nathan Lane as Andrew Jackson in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson
Chita Rivera as Anne in A Little Night Music

Donna Murphy as Madame Rose
Bernadette Peters as Mrs. Lovett
Philip Quast as Sweeney Todd
Michael McCarthy as Sweeney Todd
Cheyenne Jackson as Bobby in COMPANY
Alan Cumming as HAMLET
I just have two big ones:
Patti LuPone as Countess Aurelia in DEAR WORLD. I become more and more convinced that this needs to be done at Encores as soon as possible. Patti's never done a Herman show, and I'd love to see her tackle a character as blissfully bizarre as this.
Christine Ebersole as Mame Dennis in MAME. As far as I'm concerned, she's the only actress on Broadway who can and should play this part right now.

James Barbour as Jekyll & Hyde. Seriously, how has this not happened yet? He`s already starred in a Frank Wildhorn musical and he`s good friends with a certain OBC cast member who will soon be directing the show for like the 5th time... c`mon, Pittsburgh CLO. Do it.
I totally agree with James Barbour as Jekyll/Hyde. I imagine he's been offered the role before. Actors are always turning down great opportunities for stupid reasons.
BTW, Alan Cumming did play Hamlet many years ago (he married his Ophelia, although obviously they're now divorced). And Terrence Mann has played Sweeney Todd. He was fantastic, I'm sure.

She did a major production of MAME in 1999 at Papermill.
Even devoted Ebersole admirers, such as myself, were underwhelmed.
It's funny how some of these came true...Karen Olivo as Anita, Gavin Creel as Claude, and Sutton Foster as Reno.
I can't believe there was ever a time when I thought Alice Ripley would be a good Barbara Fordham. I take that back.
I do, however, think Mary Louise Parker would be a good Diana.
