You're stupid. I know you hated 9 to 5, and that's fine if you feel that way. But to think that it will close by Labor Day is retarded. It's making good money, and it will only pick up steam during the summer months.

I'm guessing she knows something. I doubt Q will make it past Labor Day. 9 to 5's numbers are decent right now. She'll probably close out Avenue Q and possibly return to 9 to 5 in Sept.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Logan, 9 to 5 will definitely make it to the fall. Labor Day is only 3 months from now, and the show is making more than it's weekly running cost, and this is before the tourist season hits full swing. Will it be gone by December? Maybe. By Labor Day? Definitely not.

If the show doesn't have a good advance for September-late November then it could certainly close Labor Day weekend.

I'm also guessing that Avenue Q is closing around Labor Day, and she is just returning for one last hoorah.
9 to 5 will not be closed by Labor Day. The end of the year, possibly, but not Labor Day.

Having two jobs to choose from...that's the kind of quandry I'd like. Besides, she rules this role so why not go back to it.
As for Q's future, it's one of those shows that dips below 50 to 60 percent every so often and then shoots up into the 80's within weeks. So much for consistency but it survives.
I actually wish she was coming back a few weeks earlier, since I'm heading to NYC June 13. Also coming down in July, but have other shows I want to see then. Oddly enough, if I can score the lottery, one of them is "9 to 5."

This is the same type of thing they did when they brought Adam & Anthony Back to RENT before it closed.
Would they also bring back other OBC members? I feel like this is a dead giveaway that it's hurting and going to close. Why else would she lave 9 to 5 so early?
Do you gus know for example lets say Rick Lyons wanted to come back to close the show could he? The reason I ask is b/c I think the other person's contract goes untill November(ish).

I'll bet money that Stephanie D'Abruzzo returns. John Tartaglia might, but I have the feeling he's having a lot of fun in "Shrek". They'll probably ask him to if "Shrek" is going to close before Q.

Isn't Howie's contract up in October? How could they kick him out before his contract is up? Isn't that like against the rules? I mean unless the show closes of course
