Aaron Tveit can sing, dance, and act, but I just don't see him as a Danny. I really hope that he proves me wrong tonight! Go Aaron!
Judging by his vocals on the soundtrack he is going to kick your @ss into his corner. I love his look as "Danny" ... very James Dean-ish and he reminds me of Barry Bostwick from the original show.
I actually don't like his voice for danny. (just finished hearing the whole thing). Yes he's hot. If he was ugly he wouldn't be so popular.

No it's not. I'm attractive and this does not apply to me.
But thank you dramamama for being consistent in being contrary to everything that is posted. You're what I call a balloon popper. Eveyone s excited about something and hear you come with your "pin" to pop everyone's balloon. You're such a party pooper. Ugh!
The Sound Of Music ITV
Sounds like a snooze fest. They should re-title it THE SOUND OF SNORING. ZZZzzz....
Oh lord the last thing we need here in the US of A is another version of THE SOUND OF MUCOUS. Please keep this crap on the other side of the pond..
Ring any bells, Carlos?

You are so dramatic.
I said this on another thread but he looks like a younger Christopher Walken.

I'm not. Sometimes he looks so old for that role that it seems a parody of a teenager (the book doesn't help, tbh)

Maybe you're not aware that Grease IS supposed to be a parody.

Thanks Imelda
Aaron does look too old for the role especially when. I compare him to a 22 yr old travolta
Even with the parody asterisk
that being said Aaron sings his face off

Remember the Grease reality show? I'd say that Aaron was definitely more of the "sensitive Danny".

Aaron's age wasn't nearly as big a problem as his complete lack of characterization. Danny Zuko is Aaron Tveit would be a better title for this post.
The reviewer from Variety did not care for either of the two leads. She found them lacking chemistry and stated she found Tveit as sexy as a glass of milk....OUCH!

To old ...to bland and not Danny Zuko at all...

He had no swagger, no sense of humor, no fun at all -- a surprisingly dour performance. Tveit only cut loose during the finale, dancing with an energy and abandon that had been completely missing from the rest of his performance.

Roscoe, I thought those are all the qualities you look for in an actor?
