That's him at 0:45, right? I think he auditioned for Finn

I don't think he would have been right for the role, as much as I love him...
Maybe he can be Mrs. Shoester's son 18 years after the "miscarriage". And the divorce.
What he wearing???? really wondering....
apparently he looked to much like an abercrmbie model or something.

LOL! I was making fun of the CMIYC skin thread, but thanks!
But, a new thought just occurred to me, perhaps if a nude Aaron Tveit stood next to a nude Rosemary Harris they could reflect the harmful sun's rays and help end global warming.
P
He's too good (and apparently too hot) for Finn. If he got the part, he wouldn't be in Next to Normal and Catch Me If You Can, so I'm glad he's sticking with Broadway, at least for now. He'd make an awesome guest part on Glee though.

^^I could see it. Updated On: 11/4/09 at 08:10 PM
I think he would be a great guest on Glee
but not as a love interest for Kurt
no

Why not? I'd DIE if it would happen. It wouldn't, but how amazing would that be?
And instead they went with the guy who can't sing or dance and is barely attractive? Fail.
Aaron with Kurt... that would be kinda cool and interesting... and I think that was the point of casting of Cory M. as Finn... the part is supposed to be someone that's *not* that good/kinda' timid about being a performer.

hehe, I love it all the ideas. I was thinking Jon Groff more for Kurt when he joins the cast.

Then they need to stop saying how "Amazing" and "wonderful" and "talented" he is.

They already said that Jon Groff would be a love interest for Rachel.
TV pays more. DUH!
Yes, Aaron auditioned for the role of Finn.
From Broadway.com
You auditioned for the role of Lea Michele’s boyfriend?
Yeah, for Finn. I had a great audition, and they wanted me to screen-test. When you screen-test for a pilot, you negotiate your contract right there, which could possibly be the next seven years of your life. But at that point, even though I saw the potential that Glee was going to be a huge hit, I couldn’t walk away from Catch Me If You Can or Next to Normal.

Lol, that's another way of saying "But I didn't get cast, so back to Broadway for me it was..."
except he's got those two projects and a film opposite James Franco coming, but thanks for playing blaxx.
i think he looks far too old on-screen to be playing a teenager.
"except he's got those two projects and a film opposite James Franco coming, but thanks for playing blaxx"
So Aaron Tveit is one of the few dozen actors, out of a million, who fail to realize that the $$$$ is in television??? Please. Don't give me that. Why do so many theatre actors go into Film & Television? The money, 95% of the time.
Having a film secured is no excuse to reject a lucrative contract from Fox. They work around those projects.
He's a fool for sticking with two musicals over a television show; regardless of any ultimate status and/or success! A true idiot.
I can see that you have a point if the work is just about the $$$. Even then I feel it's a matter of preference if an actor wants to be committed to something for that long just as his career is gaining momentum. I know a lot of actors who leave hit Broadway shows to go do the "next thing" because it's not worth having the show get stale for them.
What you're forgetting in this case is that he would have had to potentially walk away from 2 projects he loved for a show that could just have easily died after 6 episodes. Hindsight is 20/20. Anyway, it's all hypothetical cause I don't think he was saying they made an offer, but rather that he was under consideration and the commitment issue was a factor in that discussion.
