About wearing green to Wicked.

Totally tacky or nice to show support for the show? Your opinions please?

It's a fine idea. No one will say don't because a) its up to you and 2) most people won't even notice. have a good time!

Umm.. I don't just wear it to the show. WICKED totally made me fall in love with green and I'm totally obsessed with it. More than half of my wardrobe is green - just because of the show!! So yeah - totally. Wear green!!

Hah...I wore a black button down with a hot green tie to Wicked, and ended up begining a freindship with a certain cast member, so I say go for it.

Hah,

I'm not sure what that is supposed to mean. I could take that several ways...but ok. :P

A dancer might dream to see her name in lights and mean it, but all she really dreams is to make someone else feel the way she did when she first saw a dancer. And that is so beautiful-Anonymous

Its fun to wear green to Wicked. I do (I live in Chicago, so... I'll be seeing a LOT... if only b/c all my friends want to see it w/me... separately... lol). I don't go overboard- most of the time, people don't even notice. But it makes me feel good. LOL. *has a secret desire to be green*

Wear whatever you want.

When I saw Wicked, I wore a white skirt with pink beading and a pink top. I thought it was very Galinda.

re: About wearing green to Wicked.

Bought my daughter a beautiful green sweater for our trip to see the show last December.... now her wardrobe revolves around green and pink! (Her little brother was handsome inhis blue blazer, while I was stunning-as usual- in black!!)

I wore a long black dress with a gorgeous emerald green necklace, my husband wore a dark shirt with a green tie. I say get into to the spirit of the show, just don't go too overboard.

re: About wearing green to Wicked.

My sister and I realized during the intermission that I was wearing a bubblegum pink cardigan and she was wearing this black gauzy, flowy shirt. Very appropriate, but completely unintentional.

Wearing a green shirt to Wicked is fine. Wearing a costume complete with green face paint is definitely overboard. It's not Rocky Horror, you look ridiculous.

Go for it. Green is in most of my wardrobe.

I once read that the colour emerald green draws bad luck, but only if you are superstitous I guess!
