"Not that they need anymore publicity . . . but I'm hearing a recent high profile visitor to see the show may have been there as a precursor to possibly taking over a part in the show. Luckily for her she won't have Simon, Randy and Paula there to critique her this time."
I would guess as Arachne.. I don't think they would let Jennifer Damiano go. Could this be the big news that's coming this week?

Posted: 3/6/11 at 6:37pmMaybe they should OPEN before changing cast members (except those injured). When it comes Tony time (if it gets any noms), the current person playing the role will be up for a nomination, rendering their preview predecessors moot.

Out of all the actor interviews, TV has had the best. She actually represents the show in a good light, unlike Jenn's nail polish picking.
I doubt they're replacing anyone, especially if this "big announcement" involves (temporarily) closing the production...
However, maybe Taymor is writing in a new character. Athena, perhaps? We can go through all of Greek Mythology... Soon enough, it will be The Odyssey: Turn off the Trojan Horse.
