Rigby's not playing Peter? I'm shocked.
I can't wait for this. Jessica will be fantastic as Tiger Lily.
Nancy Anderson as Peter Pan and Douglas Sills as Captain Hook? I'm there!
I hope for Goldyn's sake they're doing the revised version of Ugg-A-Wugg, which has a lot more (and much more exciting) dancing than the original version. Given Colombo's involvement (she choreographed the Rigby version), I assume they will.
Sills is perfect for Captain Hook.
I love this musical and am really looking forward to this production. As much as I ADORE Rigby in the role, I'm looking forward to seeing another performer's take on the title role (having only seen Martin via the TV broadcast).
I was just wondering what Goldyn's been doing. Kudos!!

I know Rigby has come back after she retired from the role, but I think she was pretty clear that the Branson engagement was her last performance ever.
I literally gasped when I saw Douglas Sills was playing Hook! This is even more exciting than the Tony noms for me. I was just thinking the other day how great he would be at this role (though I'd also love to see Chris Sieber play Hook).
DOUGLAS SILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(and as Hook, a part he is perfect for!!!)
And I love Nancy Anderson. WONDERFUL JOB PAPERMILL!
Glad I can cross this one off my list...
Stupid question time...
How far is the playhouse from Brooklyn?
Yes, Biff AKA Levi. That's a very good question. How far IS it from Brooklyn?
Seeing as my username is CapnHook, I feel I must respond to Sills' being cast:
YES!
Millburn is about a 40-minute train ride from midtown. From the Millburn station, it's maybe a 3-5 minute walk to the doors of the Playhouse. So, just add whatever time it takes to get from Brooklyn to Penn Station to the commute, and you should be good.

Think again. Link for details.
Keeps on going and going and going...
I was just about to post that. I can't wait!
I still think it's about time to cast a boy as Pan.
I'll pass on that one.

IMO, Sills will be perfect for Hook. Don't venture often to Paper Mill all that often, but I'll make an exception for this one. First show I ever saw in NYC was the Mary Martin Peter Pan and I still remember Cyril Ritchard. But I'm betting that Sills can pull if off splendidly
I was also a huge Cyril Ritchard fan, but after seeing Douglas Sills in LSOH I agree he will make a wonderful Captain Hook. I've wondered about Sills' work the past few years (passing up a Shakespeare gig in Washington,DC to do Deuce Bigelow: European Gigolo, and then bowing out of Spamelot due to creative differences). It will be nice to see him in a good stage role -- hopefully back en route to Broadway.
WTF WHERE'S RIGBY?!?!?! SHE HASN'T PLAYED THIS ROLE ENOUGH!
Hayley Podschun will be great! She is definitely an up and coming star!
I wonder who will play Hook with Rigby in 2011? Maybe they'll cast someone older to make her look younger?

Perhaps a stupid question: what chance is there in this production including the Mermaid Lagoon Sequence rather than the (Incredibly dated imo) scene in which Peter impersonates a woman. I know Rigby held the rights to that sequence, but with the choreographer from all of Rigby's productions on board, I thought there might be a chance...
