Anybody know of a way to see the Tonys if I'm not in front of my TV on Sunday night and don't have a DVR?

Okay, broke down and ordered a free trial for DVR with Verizon FIOS which my son is setting up as I type this...problem solved! Guess it was time to stop using ancient VCRS

Since when do VCR's not work anymore? I have one. Why don't you just buy a VHS tape and record the show?

Verizon FIOS doesn't allow you to record on a VCR. It just records snow.

Actually, Verizon FIOS actually DOES allow you to use VCRs to tape shows, but not to time-shift, as far as I've been able to discern. I've continued to tape shows, but only if someone is around to push the start record button!

It was crazy of me to wait this long to get DVR; turns out it's only going to amount to an extra $5 a month since the box they give you replaces the HD box I was already paying for, picked up the new one this afternoon and works great...meanwhile, did anybody see the Tony preview show tonight on CBS at 7:30? It was really a nice promo piece for the nominated shows, including video footage of the straight plays.

I will be at the Les Miserables 25th Anniversary Tour tonight... DVR is set, but I still am not too happy about missing. Hope this show is pretty damn good. I still can't believe that I didn't realize the Tonys were the same night when I bought my tickets last year.
