Also. I find the OP very hypocritical by saying that the witch should have fed Jack to the giant's wife because now murder is condoned just because Jack has been a murderer before. How does that help him learn his lesson? Just kill him off. That'll solve everything?
Of all the sad threads I have checked in on at this site, this thread makes me the saddest. I don't think it is possible that most of your are theater fans at all. In fact, I hope I never meet up with any of you. A boy should be executed for having an adventure? Granny warned Little Red not to stray from the path. Cinderella was told she was not to go to the ball. The Baker's father stole from the Witch. The witch has imprisoning her own daughter for years. The Baker lied to Jack to get Milky White. The Steward kills Jack's mother to keep her quiet. I don't see that any one of them was any better or worse than any other; nor do I care. Then the usual insult experts check in with their usual irrelevant, non-constructive posts. I will always like this show, and Jack will always be a favorite character. So, no I don't have a problem with the ending of this show.
