I hope to see Sweet Charity in the afternoon, via a day ticket.

The back home to vote in the election, always faithful to the same old party, The Whig Party.

Cheers Mark,

I thought it was Thursday, so I guess and try my luck with Hair, not too bothered if I don't get in though as I can always go and see Billy Elliot.

Might see Sweet Charity for Saturday matinee then.

Ohh, this Thursday I get a nice day at college, including mime, voice and Shakespeare lessons... YAY, then watching Two (that over-done play set in a bar!) in our theatre (Jellicoe Theatre for anyone who knows the area!) and then off to a wonderful night of watching Eastenders! YIPEE!

The seven dwarfs always left Snow White alone to go work in the mine early each morning.
As each lunchtime approached, she would prepare their lunch and carry it to the mine.
One day as she arrived, she saw that there had been a terrible cave-in.
Tearfully, Snow White began calling out, 'Hello! Hello!' she shouted. 'Can anyone hear me? Hello!'
For a long while, there was no answer. Losing hope, Snow White again shouted, 'Hello! Is anyone down there?'
Just as she was about to give up all hope, she heard a faint voice from deep within the mine, singing;
'Vote for Gordon Brown, vote for Gordon Brown
Snow White fell to her knees and prayed, 'Oh, thank you, God! At least Dopey is still alive.

Mama, my mum told me that joke on the 'phone yesterday - I didn't realise what a good stand-up comedienne she would have made!

I've voted already, by post ('cos I never know if I'm going to be in the country at any particular time) so my Thursday includes a visit to the Royal Court to see 'Posh' (very topical given that it's based on a Bullingdon Club scenario) after which I'll be worshipping at the feet of (Dame) Debbie Reynolds.

You know, you guys are extremely lucky. There are a few websites I visit and scrawl the contents of my brain all over on a daily basis, and this is one of the few where I haven't spent the last few weeks banging on about the election. We only all got the right to vote on equal terms in 1928, and men only got equal voting rights a mere ten years before that. It is AWESOME and EPIC that we're all allowed to vote, so you absolutely MUST make it to your polling station and cast your X (or spoil your ballot paper if you want to protest; a spoilage is much more noticable than simply not turning up!) tomorrow. You have all day in which to do it, and this is the first election in my lifetime where we might actually make a difference.

VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE!

And now back to your regularly-scheduled theatre discussion. ^_^

Brain's a bit muddled by alochol at the moment so won't go into details, but I've already voted, and as a bonus I called a local Tory canvasser a moron. Done my bit!

Well done :)

I shall be voting today after work. It's my first time being able to vote, so I'm exercising my right to make absolutely no difference at all because I live in an area which supports one party very heavily. So heavily in fact that we've barely had any election info through the door and absolutely no canvassers.

I've just been and carried out my democratic right and urge you to do the same whatever party you're going to vote for

(even if you're going to vote Tory there's no excuse not to pop in this evening after your full frontal lobotomy appointment)

Given what looks to me like latent homophobia in one of the parties (given some of the things said recently by its candidates) we should all be voting to ensure freedom and fairness remain in this country and everyone can be openly proud of themselves!

Also, I hope no Tory voter is upset if/when they completely neglect or mess up our subsidised theatres. On the plus side, if they can get in there before they get their funding cut, maybe the RSC will bring Nicholas Nickleby back.

I'm in a slightly weird situation as one side of my family is in every sense working class, while the other side is only about one step down from aristocracy. Sadly, both sides of my family are (with a few exceptions) voting the same way.
