I *heart* Trisky. kthnxbye.
Ooh, I echo that sentiment.
Trisky~
It seems like you're having a great day, but whenever you get around to reading this, I got your holiday card! Thanks so much!! You're wonderful.

I would like to third that I too heart the Trisky and she knows why! :)
Jess, I received your card today. Oh my God, sooo cute! Yours went out yesterday so hopefully you'll get it tomorrow! :) Fishergirl, I'm going to have your prezzie this Sunday! :) Faile, I'll have your prezzie on Tuesday. :)
Now onto Bare. Such a great interview with Kristin and Michael. I can't wait for Tuesday. It's going to be brilliant no doubt. :)

And congrats to Kaitlin for getting On the Record. Sniff. It's bittersweet to see everyone get other jobs but it's nice to see the cast working!

I'm so glad you liked the card. I couldn't resist when I saw it.
I have been meaning to get to california...jk!
I cant believe Easter Rising is soooo close, We cant wait to meet everyone!!!!
MadeofGold:
Thank you for the package. A proper thank you will arrive shortly!
And can we get in on the Trisky lovin'
Woot. I could get used to this adoration thing! Only not so much. LOL
You all are very, very welcome. Alas my plan to plaster my holiday cards with pictures of the Bare cast didn't work out so well since my printer sucka sucka sucka!
I almost feel like I should be bringing them holiday cards on Sunday since they're an extended part of our little home away from home here. But I think my gift to them this year is all the money I've spent trying to follow their careers thus far!

I don't know who I adore more, Michael or Kristin. Although I keep trying to picture what direction is like for a staged reading in a space that small. I sort of just assumed they stood there with microphones and sang. But what do I know?

Nothing says love like Mrs. Prindables apples dipped in candy bars my friend. Nothing! (Except Bare of course, but since I couldn't give you that, I thought I'd give you the next best thing!)

Just so y'all know, I won't be around much (if at all) before Easter Rising. I'll check my e-mail, so you can comment on an old LJ entry if you need me for some odd reason.
Can't wait to meet y'all!!!
Hey y'all! Just got back from the Broadway Kitchen Sink event. It was like a mini Bare reunion! It seems like everyone from the cast was there!
John sang Landslide by Stevie Nicks and was brilliant and beautiful and basically insane as always. There was back flipping and thrusting involved. O_O
Michael sang "King of the World" and was soo good. As good as I remember him singing that at Feinstein's.
Jenna looked and sounded great. I'm having trouble remembering what the first song was but she sang "At the Ballet" with Natalie Joy Johnson and Eden's Brooklyn understudy (again, not so good with the name thing).
And how cool was it to see Scott Allgauer and Kristin Hanggi who I haven't seen in ages! Both looking marvelous of course! :)
Seth did a great hosting job and there were songs about masturbation and dead dogs. Now THAT'S holiday music!
And as always, so good hanging with the BFF, SCBWannabe, Fishergirl, AndyF, Luvwicked, et al. Can't wait to meet everyone else at Easter Rising!! :)
Sounds like you guys had another wonderful night thanks to the beloved bare folk!
oh and...
Thank goodness!
I think that was the last event that I have to be sad about not attending before I actually get to attend one! Its so nice that everyone at work is freaking out about how busy it will be this week and I just get to smile and say "I will be in New York - sooo take that evil two faced Target @#$#@!'s "
HEHEHE I cant wait to meet you gals!
To quote the first song sung tonight "baby, it's cold outside".
Which is why I'm currently scoffing down half a quart of Cake Batter ice cream from Coldstone Creamery to try and ease the ragged edges of my very sore throat. No one said my logic actually made any sense.
Despite the illness factor, Michael was brilliant and humble as always, Jenna was beautiful as always, Natalie was talented as always, Scott and Kristin were sweet as always but I have to give the evening to John. I kind of always feel like John is the underdog and therefore I root for him. He never lets me down because he never fails to be a) talented (and/or hot) and b) ready to be institutionalized, which personally makes him all the more appealing. If he is the one who dresses himself as opposed to the orderly on the ward then big thumbs up on his kickass outfit tonight, if not big thumbs up to whomever helps him into his clothes.
Seriously though, John needs to do his own stand up show. I think he may have missed his calling.
It was great sharing the night with so many people, can't wait to do the same on Tuesday (and I'm hoping every person reading this plans on attending or I'll have to give John a day pass from the institution so he can terrorize you...).
BTW, according to Seth Rudetsky the Chatterbox with John and Michael is available (though I don't see it on his site, hmmmm). YAY! Do buy and support BCEFA and of course Michael/John and Bare. Oh and Seth made an interesting comment along the lines of he'd heard there was some kind of hope left for Bare yet. HMMMMM....
ETA: I think that the entire Broadway community apparently knows of the fans of Bare and their uh... singular devotion. We got called out by Seth so many times I lost track. *crawls into a hole*

Sadly, I think I actually recognized you Mattio (I think I may have seen you somewhere before, but can't recall where now). Since the Bare/BWW section was probably the loudest (well, minus me who doesn't "woo-hoo" for anyone, ever) we were probably particularly hard to miss. LOL
BTW, MoG, Jenna sang "Christmas Lullabye" by Jason Robert Brown and she, Natalie and Sara Schimdt sang "At the Ballet".
OK, someone really needs to convince me that buying a ticket to Easter Rising on Tuesday is more important than having money to eat this month.... LOL

There's always Ramen Noodles! You can eat any old time, but Easter Rising is a unique opportunity that won't be repeated. Michael needs your support and you'll be kicking yourself when we all come back raving about it and him. You MUST, MUST, MUST go. Besides what kind of food can you really buy for $25? Not very much, so you can scrimp a little.
I'm sure I'm going to hell for encouraging total irresponsibility but oh well you only live once!

Amy, YOU MUST go to Easter Rising or I am never speaking to you again! Go or Die! Yes, you can call me G. Diddy! :)
Seriously, as Tracee said, you'll totally regret it when we come back and talk about the brilliance that is Michael Arden and you could have gone! :) Who needs food? Eating is sooooo last year! :)
You've probably seen me somewhere before. I tend to be pretty much everywhere.
I think this is the 1,000th event I've been to that you've been at Mattio and we have yet to meet. What's up with that? :P

I was going to introduce myself to all of you tonight but I was busy trying to milk Michael for a part in future productions of Easter Rising and then I had a train to catch. :-P
LOL Well, that's as good an excuse as I've heard. I hope you're going to Easter Rising on Tuesday then. :)

The things I do for Michael Arden.
So where are we meeting? :)
YAY!! Peer pressure works again. :) There are so many people that I know that are going that I'm just at a loss for a plan. How about we all show up and just try and find a 20 person table! :)
I've never been to Joe's Pub... how does the ticket situation work? Did they just put my name on a list or something?
