I've never been to Joe's Pub... how does the ticket situation work? Did they just put my name on a list or something?

If you're going to buy a ticket, then you can pick it up at the box office. If you make a reservation, then I think your name will be on a list and then you'll get seated accordingly. Trisky, SCB Wannabe, and I think some other people we're meeting up with (non board people) all have tickets so we're going to try and get seats together. :)

Can't wait to see you! :)

That's so funny Mattio! You weren't the guy who was approaching him with like 3-4 girls after the show were you? Probably not, don't mind me.

The things I do for Michael Arden.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY! If worse comes to worst, I'm sure my mother would be happy to make you meals. Hee.

If you don't have the tickets sent to you, it's basically a will call line. I've done it numerous times and have never had a problem before, just make sure you bring the card that you order the ticket with, with you. As for seating, it's hard to determine what their criteria is to be honest with you. It seems very random and also varies according to the size of your party.

You'll probably be able to have MoG's seat if that's the case. Early and MoG don't mix. :P

I don't know what time I'll be there since I have to work until 5:30 and get down there straight from work, but we'll pull it altogether that night. I'm sure we can all manage to get in the same vicinity. There will a ton of us from the thread there. Yay Michael!

If I remember correctly, there are only three large tables at Joe's Pub. One is on the lower level near the entrance. The other two are at the ends of the upper level. They usually use at least one or two of those three tables as Press/VIP tables.

MoG or Trisky should just put a "reserved for BWW" sign on one of the tables. Cuz they rock like that.

I want the table with the booth is what I want. Quick Michael, make that happen. *snap* *snap*

If we did that we'd probably wind up taking up half the floor! LOL Right now I'm counting at least 10, if not more, people we're going to have to try and seat somehow.

Of course Michael can be quite mesmerizing so I forgive you if you didn't even notice. Hee.

You know, you're late by 45 minutes two or ten times and you never let a person forget it. Trisky, let it go! :P

Well, I can put AG in my lap or something if that helps! :) Hi AG! O_O/

And I still want to try and get my favorite stalker AndyF to come and sit with us! :)

So the fingers have finally thawed out enough for me to actually post. Yay!

Tonight was oh my gosh so much fun. I showed up to the event with a friend of mine, and we went straight downstairs to the bathrooms. On our way back upstairs, who do we accidentally corner on the stairway landing? John Hill. I just stared - I felt like such a dork. He kinda smirked at me, and I turned to my friend and mouthed "ITS JOHN HILL OMG" and then I finally remembered we were still blocking him, heh. So I turned back around and finally said "We can't wait to see you perform tonight!" and he was like "AWW thank you, I hope I don't screw it up!"

*grin* That was very very nice. Heh. And then we ended up seeing MoG, trisky, and SCBWannabe (and others, who's names here I don't know. Eek!). The whole show was just spectacular, but like trisky said, John was completely the highlight for me. WHAT A FREAK OMG I LOVE IT. He ended up screwing the song up a couple times, repeating lines and such, and of course pointing it out to everyone so we could laugh at him. Heh.

The back bend though...oh my gosh. That was just the absolute best part of it for me. And OF COURSE, I come bearing photo evidence. Easter Rising *grins*

*cocks eyebrow* How YOU doin.... But won't trisky be jealous? That you're proposing to me? Or are we involved in a nice polygamous marriage in Utah?

How could I *not* post that picture? Honestly, this was the first time I'd ever been in the same room as John, and I really had no idea what he was like in person. That picture embodies what he's like for everyone who's never had the chance to see him live. Heh. I LOVE THAT MAN. DAMN HIM FOR LEAVING EARLY.

LOL! You know me. A couple of drinks, the Bare cast and suddenly I'm all lesbianic. Funny that. :)

Sigh. Oh John! Why you run away? :)

Lesbianic? That's a hot word, yo.

Why you run away?

He heard me basically scream "HEATHER AND I ARE GOING TO ATTACK JOHN, WE'LL BE RIGHT BACK" and ran for the doors? Even though he left like, an hour before I basically screamed that across the room to you? Hee.

I thought it was absolutely adorable how excited Jenna got when I was talking to her about the Wicked tour and told her I was going to try to see it when it hits Conneticut. She was like "OMG HARTFORD. WE'RE GOING TO BE IN HARTFORD!!!!" heh.

You're more than welcome to her! We'll see how long the marriage between baby veal and baby veal jr. who won't drive in snow lasts!

Oh John... John, John, John... you are a crackhead through and through and I mean that in the best possible light. I swear it must be the phermones he releases in a room (especially bent upwards) because that's the only time that I have an internal message saying "John is HOT, yo" on repeat.

He heard me basically scream "HEATHER AND I ARE GOING TO ATTACK JOHN, WE'LL BE RIGHT BACK" and ran for the doors?

I've heard you say it many times by now. The power of rewind is a fabulous thing. :P

First of all, yay for Amy coming to Easter Rising!!

Second, I'm so unbelievably excited. I can't wait to meet you all and see Michael for the first time. Yay for me!!!

Yeah, okay, nothing really of substance to add, but I keep annoying my friend by talking about how excited I am, so I had to get it out of my system.

Hey Guys! This is my first post (I've been lurking for a while...) and I wanted to let you all know that I, too, am obsessed with Michael and Bare! I'll be attending Easter Rising tomorrow night with a friend and had a few questions about Joe's Pub. Maybe you could help me out.

1) We have them holding our tickets there. How early do we need to get there to pick them up?
2) Do we have to make a dinner reservation? Does that guarantee a better seat? Sorry if these have been asked in the past 228 pages or so haha, but I've never been to Joe's Pub before and really want to get a good table. Thanks!

1) We have them holding our tickets there. How early do we need to get there to pick them up?

It really doesn't matter what time you get there, as they make you wait on a line to get in anyway regardless of whether you have tickets in hand or not, so you all go in at the same time. I don't think their box office opens up right away either. We've gotten there early and been put all the way in the back while a friend of ours walked in at the very last minute and got sat right in front.

2) Do we have to make a dinner reservation? Does that guarantee a better seat?

I think dinner reservations guarantee you a seat (whereas non-dinner reservations means you'll be standing by the bar). But with dinner reservations you have a two drink minimum (or $12 in food, I believe). Also, you probably don't want to sit directly in front because the stage is a little raised and you could be looking up the entire time. Of course, I also hate sitting right in front so don't listen to me! Easter Rising

Hope that helped! Stop by and say hi tomorrow night. Easter Rising

Yoooooooooo that is NOT cool. This is why you must inform someone when you are and are not recording things! LOL.

My favorite saying from last night, which just popped into my mind, really, was from John's little vamped intro, about Juliette Lewis and the backbend...heh. "That b*tch stole my bit."

BTW, I'm really, really sad. The entire really long train ride home, I was thinking about how I could pull off going to Easter Rising tomorrow. I had it all planned out, and I was sure it would probably work...and then I get back to Long Island, trek through the snowy parking lot back to my car. It took about 5 or 6 tries for my car to start, which reminded me about how I need to bring it in to fix all of its stupid problems before it won't start at all, which means no extra money for me to spend on train fare, subway fare, and ticket for Easter Rising. *sniff*

Fishergirl - sorry that you can't make it tommorrow, believe me I know how bad it sucks to have to miss things!!

I am so excited to actually be posting about meeting for Easter Rising TOMMORROW!! I can't believe that it is already here, it seems like it came up so soon!!

Anyway, it sounds like it is going to be pretty crazy tommorrow, trying to meet up with everyone, hopefully we can all just find each other and sit within the same vicinity, if I remember correctly its really not that big. Mes and I have our tickets already, but no dinner reservations, our flight gets in at 3 pm, God willing and we are not delayed due to the snow, and then we will still have to check in and get ready so we'll probably be cutting it pretty close.

I spoke briefly with him last night and he seems as excited as ever about JCS. I can't wait to see it for myself on January 8th!
