I see the Red Buckets have started for the fall and will run until Dec. 4. Anyone know what shows are offering for donations? I got A Strange Loop Playbill for $50 this past weekend.

Did a strange loop have any signed window cards or was it just playbills?

Little Shop is only doing donations right now, but they said to come back because they have signed items!
Lion King has signed posters ($60?)
I think Six has posters signed by all of the Queens for $100
That's all I got so far

When I saw Strange Loop they had posters. Maybe they’re sold out at the moment. I hope Six gets playbills.

I'm not sure if Lena Hall was joking or not, but she said for a $10,000 donation you could get eaten by Audrey II ![]()

Were they the newer smaller posters they have?

20 years ago I volunteered with a red bucket for this amazing organization.
It's not east asking folks for mow money after paying sooooo much to see a show. But we did and they delivered.
Support BCEFA - maybe, think about volunteering too.

They were the standard window card/poster size. Not mini posters.

Over my travels the past week or so:
- A STRANGE LOOP has Playbills for $50 (No posters or other items either time I went)
- HADESTOWN had posters for $125 (no Playbills) and the paper flower from each performance for $40
Nothing at Topdog/Underdog, Kimberly Akimbo, or KPOP (with respect to the fact the latter two are in previews)

Music Man had signed posters, and some kind of Xmas tree ornament with costume bits inside.
Wednesday (8-26) night they did an auction of the white gloves from the last costumes, signed by Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster.

Maybe Music Man can donate complimentary tickets ( house seats) & party invites for the closing show on Jan 1, 2023?
I remember The Boy from Oz holding an auction for BC/EFA with a ticket pair (front row) plus invite to the party for the closing show. IIRC, the winning bid was for $ 15,000.
For Easter 2022, they raised a record-breaking $ 2 million for BC/EFA.

1776 has signed playbills for $40, signed posters for $50 and a cosmetics bag bedazzled by one of the company members (I think around $100).

Nothing at Some Like It Hot...but I think newer shows don't USUALLY participate? I could be wrong

It usually depends on the show, FYI some off-Broadway shows participate as well

I don’t think I’ve ever seen any show participate while it was still in previews.

Phantom of the Opera last night had BCEFA fundraising at the end of the show, first of which I’ve seen of the season (Kimberly Akimbo & Walking with Ghosts didn’t). Phantom had a cast signed poster for I believe $500, $1k for a monkey music box signed by Crawford, the Phantom, and I forgot the third item. Finally great to see the fundraising season kick in!
