Every time I've walked by there in the last months (which is pretty often) I've thought that this was a likely candidate for early reopening. Blindness is perfectly suited. Good for them.
Seems interesting. Curious how well it'll sell at first being the first show to start up in NYC.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I think it will sell out pronto. I think they can always add to the number of performances but it may make sense to juice the demand first by selling out quickly. (I assume that, although there are no actors, there are Equity stage managers, but if the demand is there, they can obviously hire two sets.)
Very interesting concept- can't wait to see how this will play out. It's always great to see more and more hope on the horizon as the weeks and months go by.

If you look ahead at their schedule, they're doing four shows day on Saturdays and Sundays starting in May.

There's discount tickets easily available for this. Makes me wonder how long it'll last.

It's probably a fairly cheap running cost and it seems like a lot of people will be returning to the city this summer. It's one of those things I'd recommend to people to try out if they want an experience.
Seems like this one suffered from bad timing. They might have waited a bit too long to start. Now that people are looking ahead to live theatre with actors (and some of it is already happening), there might not be as much demand for an experience like this.
I think I might try to see it before it closes, but not sure.

More like it suffered from not being very good. Saw it last weekend and was pretty bored. Would probably have been better off using multiple voice actors rather than just the one. I don't know why they couldn't sell single seats because it's not like it was a sold out show. They could have easily made some of the pods single chairs. I wouldn't recommend rushing to see it.

I saw this a few weeks ago and enjoyed it! Got discount tickets through TodayTix for a Sunday afternoon performance. Pretty much a full house when I went!
I agree that this would've been more effective with multiple voice actors rather than a single narrator perspective. I don't know the source, but I assume the book was from the same perspective? But the design of this show was very cool, especially sound and lighting.
Not the best thing I've ever seen, but worth catching!

I think I saw this back when it first came out in March, but it was quite forgettable, I forgot I had seen it till this thread.
Felt mixed about the show, I enjoyed the sound design and lighting, but the narration was uneven at times. i would consider it overpriced, especially since I went alone so had to pay for the price of two (I hope theatres stop doing this).
I haven’t read the book its based on, but I’ve read other works by the author, and its quite different. His prose is philosophical, heartfelt, and funny. I recommend the book.

You're generous, this was dismal. Like a bad college project put together the night before.

Been debating about getting a ticket for August when it comes to Toronto, but I feel like I might be wasting my money. Just doesn't sound interesting...but I want to be in a theatre so badly!
