They both come across as so down to earth and friendly. And their voices are just fierce! Whatever they do its always amazing and I can't wait to see whats in store.
I laughed so hard I woke my roomates up. Now why they're asleep at 5:30 I'll never know. I think my favorite part was Shoshana rolling her eyes when Megan talked about that "Ultimate Wicked Fan" in Deal or No Deal.
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention...I'm the good cop, he's the bad cop.

I loved that interview. I laughed so much! They could not have been more adorable. I am envious of anyone who goes to see them in LA. :crosses fingers for Shoshana and Megan Variety Show!:
I love Shoshana and Megan. :]

outdamnwench - cold as it usually is in winter (which is basically the same as NYC)...there was no snow that year either. something about toronto, people just don't like...like the two of them said when they first begged to do the tour together, it was ok'd *only* if they'd do toronto. (followed by an eye roll.) so it's something that they knew about the city before they even got here. who knows.
After re watching it the impression I got was this.
That in an ideal world they would have just played their respective hometowns and then gone home.
I think also that even though they just finished Wicked on Broadway prior to the tour. If I recall Tornoto was a longer stop for them then their hometowns and maybe they had enough of the show?
I don't think it was hate of the city. I think it was more of them clearly enjoying each others company and having enough and wanting to go home.
Maybe as well as maybe feeling tired of doing the show they could have felt that while there was stuff for them to do in both of thier home towns there might not have been much for them to do in Toronto.

They also were there over the holidays. That run got extended, so I don't know if they went into it knowing they'd be there over Christmas and New Year's.
I was going to say I thought that the Toronto leg of their tour contract seemed longer then the other two stops. I just think that it was going to be the last time the two of them worked together for awhile and they knew that and they weren't looking foward to it. And, as it has been said before they got an extended run meaning that they were there over the holidays instead of home with thier families or at least not working.

I work part time at a retail store in dt Toronto and one day I met 3 cast members from the Drowsy Chaperone tour. I was helping them with their purchases and they were telling me they loved the city but they needed to go back Asap to the US because the hotels and food here were expensive and it was hurting their pocket. Who knows.. I find hotels more expensive in New York.
For some reason the video won't play... I know this was so long ago but I would love to see this interview! Does anyone have access to the video who would be able to send it to me?? Pretty please!
