I noticed that some of Bailey's costumes in Legally Blonde are different than Laura Bell's, did they change all of the costumes or just some of Elle's? I know this is a really small question but I noticed it and I began to wonder. Thanks!
Which costumes are you referring too? I didn't notice anything different either time I saw her.
The two Omigod... dresses are exactly the same, as is the What You Want costumes (the sweatsuit and the band outfit). She wears the same outfit in Positive that LBB did. The denim jacket and pink skirt she wears for the last few scenes of act 1 is also the same. In act 2, the blue suit with the pinstripes is also the same, as is the pink she dress she "changes" into in Paulette's closet. Curtain call dress is identical.
She does, as was pointed out, fill out the costume much more than LBB did.
The different costumes: "What you Want" sweatsuit (lighter and short-sleeved) "Positive" pants (pink instead of blue jeans) "So Much Better" skirt (dark pink and purple, instead of dark and light pink)
"The positive pants have always been pink, they were kind of a purple with pink. I think."
They're blue jeans. I just went to the website and checked the photos. Official Site

We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
You're all wrong. Bailey wanted to show her biceps, and was really pissed that one of the Delta Nu girls wore a sleeveless top in one number and all eyes went to the nameless ensemble member instead of her.
This may be the ultimate level of nitpicky, but she also wears a different top in "Chip on Your Shoulder." It's a pink short-sleeved shirt now instead of a tank top, IIRC.
Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!
I would almost venture to guess the pink & purple skirt at least was a previous incarnation and was rejected originally because yes, that color combination does seem to be a bit jarring. Believe it or not, sometimes rejects from previews, etc, will sometimes get saved for replacements, understudies, etc. I believe Annie Funke, the current Tracy standby, is wearing an older version of the You Can't Stop the Beat dress that was also discarded either in previews or early in the show's run.
