My husband and I saw it with a friend at NY City Center and we all loved it (and my husband isn't even a Meat Loaf fan). We would've gone back for a second viewing, if we'd had an opportunity. Bradley Dean and Lena Hall singing "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" was worth the price of admission alone.

Okay kids, I will be tracking this as best I can from the San Fransissyco bay area and will mos def attend a performance to see how it compares to the NYC City Center production.  I have high hopes, but seeing the performances listed on Ticketmaster have ascertained that it will be a "tab" version (already a bad sign).

Also, with the exception of Jersey Boys, the Paris theatre has been jinxed with bombs like Marilyn, The Producers, Notre Dame du Paris and We Will Rock You (latter three tab versions).  I may have forgotten others.

First trailer for Vegas BOOH on YouTube:

I'd hardly call WWRY a bomb in Vegas. It ran a full year. Did it recoup? Probably not, but it's not like it shuttered in months (like BAT has done in North America). Even the first run for BAT in Toronto ONLY ran about three months because of well-calculated subscription sales on Mirvish's part. An attempt to bring the show back (via the 'tour' launch) failed big time. WWRY, for better or worse, has faired much better than BAT nearly everywhere.

Have a week holidays booked in Vegas beginning of October.  Got tickets for Diana Ross and hope to see Katy Perry.  Part of the week will go up to Bryce Canyon, and will try to hit some theatre in Utah like the Shakespeare festival there & the Tuacahn Amphitheater.   For the rest of the nights in Vegas was kind if scratching my head about what to see.  Never been a big Meat Loaf fan, but this could be ok?  There aren't a lot of very interesting new shows on the Strip; & the only other long running actual musical is Menopause the Musical at Harrah's.  Saw a matinee of that in 2019 - was amusing.  The new Cirque Show Mad Apple at NYNY sounds kind of lousy - like Cirque is trying to take notes from the SpiegleWorld shows by including raunchy comedians.

I concede your point re Rock You at Paris, but Producers and Notre Dame were not very successful.  David Hasselhoff was an embarrassment in Producers and Notre Dame's sing-along still haunts me at night.

Will you attend BOOH and have you seen it in any iteration?

This will be 90 minutes, right? How long was the show at City Center?

As much as I didn’t care for it I could see how a 90 minute Vegas version could work.

Google Meow Wolf Las Vegas.  That is something you might wish to experience.  Also Particle Ink can be Googled.  Both are located off the strip in or near the Vegas Arts district.  The latter actually has a specific running time of about 60 minutes.  You stand and/or walk in both installations.  Meow Wolf is more whimsical and Particle Ink somewhat somber/magical.  Various evening showtimes.

Around 2 1/2 hours with intermission.  I flew in from CA to see it (kidney stone rolling on my flight in).  Just as wacky/campy as I expected.  The cast gave it their all and really raised the roof with their voices.  Also met Meatloaf and some of the principle actors.  A fun time.

Thanks. I had read about Omega Mart the Meow Wolf installation in Las Vegas, but not Particle Ink.

Both seem like fancy variations on haunted houses.  Omega Mart also has a bit of an escape room aspect, as there is some sort of mystery you can uncover if you wish - or you can just ignore that aspect & walk through it.   While they look interesting, neither are my cup of tea.

I also saw this at City Center. It was an absolute blast. Definitely the LOUDEST show I have ever been to.

I saw this at CC and I really enjoyed it. I mean it's trash, but it's fun. After a few drinks and hearing "It's all coming back to me" - I had a great time.

Although this being non-union gives me pause to the production value. But maybe the'll just copy and paste the set since they probably have it sitting in storage.

I'm hoping that Vegas will add back the pyro that was in the London production.  I believe that Strat's motorcycle also transforms.  And wouldn't drone bats flying into the auditorium be a hoot?

Surprised this isn't on a cruise ship yet.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I saw the show in Toronto during its first run there, and that was enough for me. I love a good flop but this one did nothing for me. (SPOILER AHEAD) I concede the car crashing into the pit was astonishing at first, but then the effect was ruined when 'musicians' carrying broken instruments started climbing out of the pit after the car went in, breaking the fourth wall needlessly since NONE of the instruments being carried up were used in the show's orchestration, thus taking what could have been a WOW moment and stunning effect into just a cheap joke. Just didn't care for the evening personally.

There are a lot of options for an online casino  , so it's smart to check out some reviews https://casinosanalyzer.com/casino-bonuses/wowvegas.com before signing up. Reviewers should be fair and thorough, providing information like the casino's brand, the software it uses, and the games it offers. Verify that the review comes from a reliable source.

Yes it's incoherent, yes, it probably isn't a good fit in Vegas. I don't care. I loved this show at City Center!

Okay kids!  Will miss Bat on 10/14/22 cuz I'll be attending Sarah Brightman's Starlight Symphony and returning to the SF bay area the following day, but hope to visit Vegas in November or December and catch it then.

I'm seeing this Thursday night and will report back.  I have previously seen it twice in London, and once at City Center in NY.  So I guess you can say I am a fan.  Checking tickets, it looks like there are practically no sales(!) so I'm hoping the show won't be in a mostly empty theater.

Any word on how this is doing in Vegas?  I did look at November 9 an d there were lots of tickets for sale - but I wonder if Vegas is more of a "tourist" "spur of the moment" purchase for shows like Bat Out of Hell.  I really have no idea.

I DID see BOOH the weekend ! attended the Sarah Brightman concert in Vegas and here are some of my musings (remembering that I saw the NYC iteration as well):

Yes, about 100 minutes give or take.

Tightening worked well, but the opening scene now had me scratching my head as to who was who and what was what (but the plot was wacky originally, so...).

Basic set was identical, but seemed almost environmental because the theatre itself is so much smaller than City Center.  More bang for your bucks with the lighting, sound effects, pyro (love the pyro), "exploding" Harley, live band (hidden until the bows) and glitter cannon.  No orchestra pit for the bike to drop into though.

Now...the one song I missed (I'm sure others were abbreviated or cut) was Tink's solo.  Tink still had his "leanings" though.

Love, hate or indifferent to the show, I believe that most attendees to the NYC performances would agree that the voices of that cast were formidable.  Alas, not the case with the Vegas cast.  Just did not have the power and nuance of Lena Hall, Andrew Polec and all the other actors in NYC.  I will give LV cast an "E" for effort.

So the bottom line is that I felt this BOOH is a pale copy of the original, but still worthwhile for a less critical Vegas audience of mainly touristas.

Did I forget anything?  Questions, comments, observations encouraged.

Doubt there will be much of it, but please try to keep any elitist snark to a minimum.  This silly ( but fun to me) show really doesn't warrant it.

LoveYouMeanIt.

No snark from me. Just a thank you. I don't post on the board generally because the tone is too snarky for me, but I've followed Bat since it's very first production in Manchester and I enjoyed reading your thoughts on Las Vegas. Pity about the cast, but that makes me feel better about not being able to go to Vegas to see them. Do you know how well it is selling? The seating plans don't look encouraging, but I assume that a lot of tickets are shifted last minute in a place like Las Vegas.

Yes, it is very hard to tell with Vegas shows and last-minute purchasing by the tourists, but I'm strictly gonna guess that it will last thru the upcoming holidays.  After the first of the year ... If word-of-mouth is strong perhaps it will have a life.  The audience seemed to enjoy it, but Vegas audiences can be almost comatose at times.  Lettuce just say that they enjoy "kulture" infrequently, if ever.
