Not an official quote, but the way Patti LuPone said "Bobby" when presenting Company.
BOBBY!

I agree Priest.
And Julie White's whole speech.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Loved how Patti said Bobby. And White's and Wilson's speech. Fabulous!

Wilson and White by far. I also love how Patti's BOBBY reminded me of how much there needs to be a Whitney Houston musical on broadway

Wilson's speech was grteat as was white but being such a SA fan i loved when Gallager Jr said to quote his moritz: this is what heaven must feel like. That was so true and nice I felt good.

Julie White definitely. Whackos.
And favorite moment: Idina and Taye's reaction to Fantasia's performance.

My absolute favorite was Mary Louise Wilson's scream.
...it kind of reminded me of Howard Dean, in a way.
But coming in a close second was David Hyde Pierce's (Although Raul should have been giving a speech at that point...) comment about Jonathan Groff!

Why do people on here repeatedly think that Idina and Taye were horrified by Fantasia's performance? Anyone with 2 eyes and a brain can see that they were bowled over by her. Totally impressed.
Best speeches:
Julie White
David Hyde Pierce
Frank Langella
Mary Louise Wilson
What is Stephen Sater on? No wonder he can't write lyrics...he's absolutely insane or on something.

I love Julie White. I had a heart palpitation when Sater gave a Guilty Ones shout out.

That made my life. Gah, so many great moments.
Steven Sater does seem a little crazy, but he made me tear up a little.
When everyone was thanking "Ira" I kept thinking "Why is everyone thanking Ira Gershwin?" Haha. And then I realized who it was.
