She was seen on twitter yesterday responding to someone saying see you in November and she said yes but she was missing Nov 17 as she'll be singing in Carnegie hall that night. So barring last minute stuff, she should be there on the 12th.

My feeling is that she's here through New Year's weekend."

Loved Betsy in the role but I've been wanting to see Stephanie for ages. She was fantastic in Wicked years ago.

If I were to guess, I'd say it's probably an appearance + performance in either Corden's or Kimmel's late night show. There's a low chance of an Ellen appearance as well, but those don't go as viral anymore (can't even remember when we had one time).

^ I was thinking about a talk show appearance too, but everyone already have their schedules up for this week and Betsy or waitress aren't on them. I'm guessing it's some collab with Sara. Also, Betsy said whatever she's doing. It isn't open to the public

I immediately assumed that it was to film a promo/announcement for her replacement, who might be a Hollywood-based performer.

Betsy has been quite vocal about when she will be out of the show....Stephanie Torns is great in the role.

Betsy has been out of the show a lot. I get that she is traveling and doing press and all those things but it seems like she has been out like 2-3 times a week.

Even better. Betsy in fact has amazing attendance. She spent the entire summer there without even one day off ever. She missed a half a week when she was sick in the fall. And came back sooner than expected

This week and next are the first due to professional conflicts. That's it.

Betsy was glorious guesting with the Houston Symphony this weekend. The evening was marred somewhat by very bad sound mixing; the soloists were often drowned out by the orchestra. But when that was not a problem, she was in perfect voice and was quite charming with the usual banter that connects the songs. She was especially touching in a tribute to the people of Houston who are still suffering the after affects of Harvey.

Who knows what the deal is with Carousel...but I don't even remember anything being said about her original leave date...Did I miss something? I guess so :/

No she could not. They had a workshop in the fall - she was not available. Period. Why can't people let this go? She's moving on...
