Your post made my heart happy, Haterobics.
Sharing experiences with loved ones - family and friends - is the greatest joy I have in life.
The memories of this will stay with you, and your grandmother, forever.

I've been thinking the same thing. She would be charming though. She has the perfect magical personality.

I was thinking of biting the bullet and getting a ticket for Jan. 14, and there are a few Premium Tix for sale on Telecharge for $599. I can't justify spending that much on myself. I wonder if anything less expensive is bound to pop up?

We bought our tickets for the 14th during early previews (or maybe before the first preview) under the assumption that she would end then. My guess is that others did too, and that's why there's no seats. Given it's Rudin, I don't see why he'd release any seats without some premium for that day...

I have rear orchestra that day. I bought a single thinking that if it is her last show I would be there and if it weren't I would sell the ticket. I have now seen the show more than any show in my 60 year old life. . I am usually not a repeat customer for things. But I plan on seeing this a few more times during its run. Money well spent for my soul.

Interesting about that story going around about Patti and Glenn catching the show last week. Isn't Warpaint on the same performance schedule as all Dolly? Tuesday thru Sunday?

What a shame we lost Madeline Kahn so soon. I would imagine she would have been a wonderful Dolly.

Actually ; Madeline did do a short leg of Dolly on tour. By all accounts it wasn't very good . Same as Linda Lavin in Gyosy . Some things are better in paper.
Still curious as to how it was possible for Patti to go to Dolly when her show is in the same schedule .

that article also seem like it was only Glenn who saw the performance and she met with Patti afterwards
