Except that's not in the order how it all happened. Ben was attached to DEH prior to Marc joining La La Land if I remember correctly

I have him blocked but I'm sure he's explained that Beyonce is simply a human being and not an idol for so many singers everywhere and maybe something about how Ben and co. shouldn't have made her feel self-conscious as an idol to so many POC or something of that sort? Idk. Just going by what he usually writes whenever a POC visits a Broadway show.
