I wonder if Heidi will have the same dressing room at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre that she had when she was playing Ursula in "The Little Mermaid."

It will be fascinating to see how this show stacks up this Spring without Nathan, and up against a new crop of big musicals.
Of course Brad Oscar is replacing someone in this. If it runs long enough, he'll be playing Gomez before long...
This cast sounds promising. It's just going to be strange without the others. I wonder if they'll rework some things since Nathan is leaving...
beautywickedlover- Nathan Lane currently occupies the "Ursula" dressing room.

^ Apparently the lead actors always get the Dressing room with the Elizabeth Taylor bathtub and the Sting Mirrors. I still wondered why the Ursulas got that dressing rooms instead of the Ariels because that dressing room also belonged to the actresses who played Belle in "Beauty and the Beast."

Heidi Blickenstaff is the only thing that could get me to see this mess in person...so now we have a problem.
Ditto, I.B.F. Damn.
Count me in on the Blickenstaff dilemma. Blickenstaff + Hoffman = profit? I don't know.
Blickenstaff and Rachel Potter are really the only ones I'm happy about. Rachel Potter is amazing, but it will be weird to see the show w/o Krysta and Carolee. Brad Oscar is only ehh. They should have just given it to Jim Borstlemann, who's hysterical. How long will Rees be contracted for?
@beautywickedlover
That was probably because Ursula had a much larger and intricate costume as well as a longer make-up application and more time off stage.
It might also be closer to the stage which, with all of the Ursula extremities, would make more logical sense as to avoid any of the smaller corridors backstage.
This will definitely get me back at the show! I love Heidi!
Sorry, Heidi. I sat through The Little Mermaid for you and will not make that mistake again.

I thought the [title of show] gang was going to be doing their new show this Spring at the Vineyard. Did I miss it?
So when do we get the announcement "Oscar and Blickenstaff assume the roles of Gomez and Morticia Addams"?
Brooke Shields is rumored to replace Bebe later this year (according to posters on this site).

Not to be SUPER off-topic, but in regards to the pink bathtub... I'm pretty positive that Nathan had it ripped out.

^ He did. Jackie Hoffman showed it on her video blog. I think it's all white in the bathroom now.
Poor Heidi-she keeps getting cast in shows that are a total waste of her luminous talent. I am sure she is being paid well though, so that is good.
When I saw the Addams Family, it was after a good friend of mine (who's opinions I value) highly suggested it to me, saying that it was something that I would like.
Let me say that that was not the case. Did I find myself laughing at some points? Yes, I did. But, overall, I found myself leaving unhappy and felt that my 40 bucks (current student rush price at that point)had gone down the toilet.
Do I think Heidi is talented? Yes, I do. But, even that wouldn't get me back to see this show. I think that the original cast was pretty darn good, despite being in a bad show. And, I am eager to see A, how this will hold out against newer shows opening up this spring and B (depending on if it gets this far) how it will do once Bebe and the rest of the original cast leave.
I'm happy to hear that Brad Oscar is coming back to Broadway in a role perfect for him
Probably was a contractual thing for Sherie Rene Scott during Little Mermaid, since she originated Ursula.
