I'm going to give it a shot in person this week. I also want to see Carousel before it closes.

SpongBob SquarePants
Aladdin
Beautiful (x2)
Summer the Musical
Phantom of the Opera (and I only entered this one twice - because of the weird time frame for registration)
Gettin' the Band Back Together (x3) ( I didn't go any of the times I've won and passed them onto friends. I tell myself I will go, but then when I win I'm just not up for it. Maybe, since I haven't heard great things. I've stopped registering for this one)
And I even wonHAMILTON! on my fourth week trying.
TBH, most of the lotteries through luckyseat seem to be pretty difficult to win. It may be the way those lotteries are set up, where you can sign up for a total of 8 lotteries in one registration, so you don't have to remember to come back or really think about what you may have planned on that particular day before signing up.

I won the online BoM lottery a couple of times, didn’t take me long either. On the other hand I’ve been trying Hamilton for over 2 years and still no luck. It’s a lottery, so it’s all random in the end.

When the show first opened, they only had the in-person lottery so it took me about 10x to finally win. Within the same 3 month-span I also won free tickets to their 1-year Fan Day. Since then, I've won the digital lottery about 5x and the in-person lottery again 2x. Haven't seen it that many times (only 4x) but it has definitely gotten much easier in the last few years. Meanwhile, I've been entering the Hamilton lottery for years and haven't won yet.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has experience winning the digital lottery for this lately? Where were your seats? Are they all partial view? I am taking a friend who has never seen it so ideally want him to have a great view if possible. I know the in person lotto back in the day gave all front row tickets, not sure if that all just transferred over to the digital lotto or not

I won for last Friday night... I got Orch E17 (it was just me). A teeny bit more to the left than I would have liked, but that's just me being picky. I could see everything and it was an amazing seat for the price/value!

Doesn't sound too bad. Yeah I am not a fan of the sides either, hoping for somewhere in the middle. We shall see tonight!!

I won the lottery for yesterday's matinee. I got Left Mezzanine, seats 25 and 27. They were decent seats for the price, but we couldn't really see the left side of the stage. One of the boxes were directly in front of us, so it obstructed the view. Still loved the show though!

Does anyone know if when you get to the theater to pick up tickets impacts the seats you get? As in, if you get there closer to when the performance starts are your seats worse?

I’ve always wondered this too and don’t 100% know the answer to your question, but I want to say it most likely doesn’t impact your seats. Reason I think this is any time I’ve won the lottery, they have taken my ID to check my name and then pull out a very specific envelope that I thinkkkk possibly may have my name on it. I’m never certain cause they have always taken the tickets out of the envelope and given them to me, throwing out the envelope. But that’s my theory anyway lol

The BoM tour is having in person lottos outside the theater they are touring to, I'm curious if anyone has tried and see if those seats are good. It might depend on the theater, but I'm still curious as I'm see the tour in Philly in a few weeks, but my seat is obstructed so maybe trying to lotto might be better.

So glad I can answer this! I won the BoM tour lottery when it came to my town. The seat I got was smack in the front row, first seat. I've seen a lot of shows, and that was the best seat I'd ever gotten.
