YAY!!! Did you guys hear she's going to be joining a new show called "Conviction" about ADAs? and it focuses more on their personal lives unlike the L&O series? I'M SO EXCITED. ALEX CABOT RETURNS!
Um back on topic...I have never seen anyone famous that I noticed. Oh one time I saw this guy on the street, and I recognized him...but now I forget who it was...so obviously not anyone I found memorable.
--Like an odd exotic creature on display inside a zoo, hearing children asking questions makes me ask some questions too...--
haha...yea, Spelling Bee was great. i counted the number of people there - there were 35, so I guess I did have a good chance of winning. Thanks to all who helped me clear that rumor up!
**Also, Vanessa Williams was on my plane coming back to NY from Tokyo, Japan in Nov. '04!
"Billy, put down that phylactery...we're Episcopalian." - Spelling Bee
I saw Billy Joel and Kristin Johnson at Hairspray, David Hasselhoff at Spelling Bee, and Norbert Leo Butz, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Sutton Foster randomly on the street (not together, of course).
>>>When I saw DRS last month Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry were in the audience. I saw Hugh when I was backstage after<<<
So that was what the staff who was manning the merchandise booth at the Imperial was talking about when I saw the show last week. It seems that when Hugh went backstage, everyone from the crew ( and cast) came over to talk to him...so much so that John Lithgow opened his dressing room and said out loud "Aren't you going to allow me to talk to my guest?"
I sat behind Kate Reinders and Megan McGinnis at Chitty and then saw Michelle Lookadoo at Chitty the other day as well.
I also saw Stephanie D'Abruzzo randomly on the street my first week her in NY and stopped and talked to her. She was incredibly sweet!
I ran into Shoshana. she was coming out of colony. And I saw Eden on 8th and Barret Foa in starbucks.
OOh and my favorite! I met Derrick Baskin on the subway! What a nice guy! and the other day I met a guy who is in Jersey Boys on the subway. as well as many others.
What is your dream role?
My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block
Just one of the many reasons I admire and respect Stephanie!!
Also, when I was at Pillowman Caroline Rhea was buying tickets for that afternoon.

HAHA! My avatar! I love Stephanie March! I'm also addicted to SVU. Greatest. Show. Ever. I'm really excited for her new show, I was really sad when she left SVU.
"Electricity sparks inside of me... and I'm free, I'm free."
I saw David Schwimmer and Judy Greer at Sweeney Todd about a month ago. I also saw Clay Aiken leaving Wicked a few months back. I saw Bruce Vilanch watching Hairspray from one of the boxes about a month ago...I talked to him after the show and he said that that was the first time he'd seen the show from the audience...and he laughed the whole time. I've seen a lot of Broadway actors walking down the street or getting food. And I saw David Ayers at Starbucks today.
I sat beside Isaac Mizrahi at one of Whoopi's 25th anniversary shows, last year. Where as some celebrities come across as unappraochable, he initiated every bit of conversation. He's really a sweet and humorous gentleman.
I've come this far with the truth of the heart. Deep down inside I think we're all the same. Try not to judge and never shame... I do believe people are good... they just want hope and respect... to be understood ~Melissa Etheridge
