I am still recovering from my dissapointment of last year. I had arranged my NYC trip in order to make it to the Flea mearket. So, made my plans to arrive the day before, arranged with other BWW members to meet there, bloody flight is cancelled, so I fly the next day which was the Flea Market day, arrive in NYC when everything is over
Have fun everyone ! I am sure one day I'll make it on time !

Maybe Charity will sell Christina's cast? i would so totally buy it!
Last year there seemed to be a lot less show booths than the year before. Hopefully will be better this year!
I REALLY have to go to this!! Sounds like SO much fun! Time to make plans! lol.

I went two years ago and spent a good amount of time over at the Rent table. I know they sell costume pieces, some at really decent prices (a Diva shirt for $1? Yes!) ...Do any other shows do this, or is it more along the lines of signed things and suchlike?
Is there any structure to how the booths are set up? Do certian shows always get the same spot? I am SO excited!!

birthday weekend... maybe I can convince the parentals to let me go up for the weekend. I can't imagine going to a flea market where everyone is focusing on buying Broadway items.
that's so awesome. it's on my birthday, the day i will be legal, and i will be living in a suburb of NYC in 3 weeks. This birthday is going to be so fun.

that is cool...
I haven't gone in a few years but usually each show gets its own table and it is up to each individual show what they want to sell - costumes, memoribilia, CDs, etc. I bought a "Cell Block Tango" snowglobe one year. There was also a general table of new/unopened autographed CDs by Broadway artists (like solo albums, not cast albums). In the back, there were also vendors selling playbills for various prices - modern playbills were cheap but old playbills and autographed ones were expensive. A hint for the playbills was that if you want until like 5 or 6pm, everything is half-price. I got, I think, an "Annie" playbill from 1978 with Sarah Jessica Parker as an orphan (signed), and an OBC playbill for "Amadeus" (unsigned). Since this was years ago, there was also a "Rosie O'Donnell Show" table but obviously that won't exist anymore.
The highlight is, at the front, there is a long table set up. Here, Broadway stars sit in either shifts of half-hours or hours and you pay like $5 and you get to go down the line and get autographs from all of them. Every half-hour or hour, the roster of people there changes so you can pay again and get more autographs if you want.
Hope this was some help to people looking for info.

at the rent table they always have the name sliders that are on the "whos in the show" board in the lobby, they sell pictures and autographed playbills (sometimes from the aniversary or special performances) last year they were selling the prob candles and matches. Things like that.

I have never been more jealous in my life on you New Yorkers. I would die to go to this. Have lots of fun. I will be there in spirit. Tell us all about it when you get back so that I can live vicariously through all of you.
