Posted: 5/2/11 at 4:27pmljay and tag -- just FYI, I believe it's a typo and you will be seeing a correction shortly. I'm told the figure is actually $612k (rather than $912k), which is DOWN a little bit, though still a lovely figure for a play these days.

Because it's potential gross is $1,334,271 meaning it's only reaching 59.91% of it's potential. That means it's heavily discounting to achieve that 99% attendance figure. That would be fine for a two year old show but this is a new show.

They cut the mezz in half too.
I'm just surprised it's not doing better business. It really is a fun show, but maybe the movie version is just too good?
