Posted: 5/2/11 at 4:32pmThat Book of Mormon gross is amazing - 3rd highest of the week, and in only a medium sized theatre. Not such a great week for Priscilla, Addams Family or Wonderland.

Posted: 5/2/11 at 7:24pmTKTS, how can you insinuate that "Sister Act" isn't doing well by gross? This week was up over $107K than last week.

Because it's potential gross is $1,334,271 meaning it's only reaching 59.91% of it's potential. That means it's heavily discounting to achieve that 99% attendance figure. That would be fine for a two year old show but this is a new show.

Posted: 5/3/11 at 3:00pmYou just need to look at the average ticket price for Sister Act to also see its not doing steller business

They cut the mezz in half too.
I'm just surprised it's not doing better business. It really is a fun show, but maybe the movie version is just too good?
