re: Broadway Songs that Give You Chills

I really like Tomorrow Belongs to Me also, I just always feel like I shouldn't like that song, but I do.
And hang on, when did you win the discus?

re: Broadway Songs that Give You Chills

"Tower of Babble" leaves me in tears or near-tears every time I see it performed. The cast recording(s) don't have the same effect on me, though. Just seeing it live.
Don't you want to tell your sweetheart where you been? Hey, it don't matter... hello again...

Not the chills, but tears.

Last weekend, during Patti's "Rose's Turn" and "Lesson #8" from the Roundabout "Sunday." I was bawling.

Finale B from RENT.

Every. Single. Time. I don't know how that's possible after all these years. You'd think the effect would have dulled by now, but it certainly has not.
"It means nothing to come and sit in a theater night after night and immerse yourself in fantasy, only then to walk out the door and be unchanged in reality. This show will live on in our hearts. But where it truly must survive is in our actions, our compassion and our generousity of spirit towards one another." - Adam Pascal on the closing of RENT

The Letter from Billy Elliot.

I know it hasn't been to Broadway but it is on its way. Saw it in Sydney which is an out of town try out (production)for the version you guys will get.

When the song is reprised in the second act many people in the audience were actuallyweeping, myself included. It wasn't a quiet sniff and a tear it was all out weeping!

Fantastic moment in Theater.
