"For the record, it was nice meeting you yesterday. I did not understand what was going on with Leenya, which was why I changed the subject. (I was the one standing next to you, who "Raul's #1 fan" flung at Kelly before he left)"
Thank you. It's nice to know that someone didn't think I was a pushy crazed bigot. And no, I do not own or ever plan to own a "Bobby is my hobby" shirt.
Anyway, that guy apprently heard people talking about the cellphone glare, and when Leenya came out, he asked her something like, "So you the one who stared the cell down?" and she was very confused. Then, he said "I don't know, they said it over there (pointing at you and the person next to you). Poor Leenya.
Wait...the guy flung YOU at Kelly? Seriously? Or did just miss something?

He came up behind and pushed me at her. This was after he kept handing my playbill around, because I was apparently neither tall enough or loud enough to do it on my own.

For one final farewell to Company after Xanadu I decided to walk by the Barrymore one last time on my way to the subway. Obviously the marquee was not lit which was so symbolic for me. I just walked the entire length of the theatre taking one last, long look at all of the posters. I had to force the tears not to come out. It was just a time to reflect on how much the show meant to me. I just stood there looking up at the marquee for a good minute. As I was walking away "Being Alive" came onto my ipod which was the perfect ending for me.

Posted: 7/3/07 at 11:03amI wonder when they'll actually take the marquis down. Is something already planning on going in there?

I don't think so.

Posted: 7/3/07 at 11:51amI hope they don't take the marquee down before I can find my digital camera... nothing wants the Barrymore immediately next season though.

Do these help? Unfortunately I don't have a full frontal shot, so to speak.

Posted: 7/3/07 at 12:09pmI'd post mine, too, but they're about identical to Artscallion's. I'm guessing the marquee will be up for a few days more as well because there's no word of an immediate replacement.

Posted: 7/3/07 at 12:49pmUm... I have a few shots of the empty interior of the theater after everyone left, and of people waiting at the stage door. I'm computer illiterate, does anyone know how to paste pictures into these messages?

Ok, thought I'd try posting a pic I took. It's of Heather Laws' baby. She's so cute dressed as Amy.
