it would specifically say Salina, Kansas on the ticket
The punch on the margin of the ticket indicates Solomon, which is partly in Saline County and is included in the so-called Salina area.
p.s. I'm hoping 2013-14 will include A Tale of Two Cities.
I'm thinking ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY, I think it could be Chenoweth's revival.
LITTLE MERMAID and GRAND HOTEL seem plausible as well, and I wouldn't be surprised by SISTER ACT or THE SOUND OF MUSIC.
The jar of fireflies has to be THE ROSE TATTOO.
I'm hoping the hands are AGNES OF GOD. Three sets of porcelain hands in prayer = three character play about religion. Makes sense.
Paper Mill just did RAGTIME about six years ago,so I'm almost certain the hotel has to be something else.
Don't you think DOUBT would be an odd choice? It's almost too soon for them to put on a production of it.
We're talking about a company that produced HAIRSPRAY one year after its seven-year Broadway run ended, and BOEING BOEING this past year. They have a long history of producing shows just seen in New York.
I was actually thinking Agnes of God as well. Not sure where the Violet reference came from, but I would love for a larger company to produce this beautiful piece. I saw the recent production in Chicago three times and I think it deserves a shot at Broadway.
Did they ever announce this? The article says the season was to be announced on February 27, but I don't remember reading anything...
They just posted on their Facebook page yesterday (Tuesday) that they will now be announcing it tomorrow (Wednesday, Leap Day). It's gonna be a busy Leap Day this year with all the announcements and special sales...
I'm also interested to see what they are doing, because for the past few seasons, they have been sharing one of their (non tour) musical productions with Seattle's 5th Avenue Theater (which is announcing their season this upcoming Sunday).
If it's Sister Act(which I doubt), I would guess that the tour would be stopping there and the Broadway production closed.

I'm confuzzled. Which picture was supposed to be A Chorus Line and which was supposed to be Lend Me a Tenor?
What a boring season.
Totally bizarre, I don't see how you can get A CHORUS LINE or LEND ME A TENOR out of any of those photographs.
LEND ME A TENOR takes place in a hotel suite.
So does the girl have the entire cast of A Chorus Line in their glowing gold vests and top hats shrunk and trapped in her jar?
Do we think Jessica Lee Goldyn will be Cassie as she has played Cassie non-stop all over the country the past year or so.
It would be nice if someone from Papermill would explain how anyone would guess A Chorus Line??
10 bucks says Goldyn is cast in this. Though she was Tiger Lily in their production of Peter Pan and was in the first two episodes of Smash. I just hope she's not Cassie, but Val instead, she's simply too young. And considering the revival closed four years ago and the tour last summer, I wouldn't be suprised if at least half the cast appeared in either one. Goldyn as Val, Yazbeck as Al, Natalie Cortez as Diana, etc.
It also seems like Baayork Lee is trying to stage as many ACL prodcutions as possible since the tour closed. She'll be doing it this summer in Pittsburgh, then Papermill and recently wrapped up a production in the midwest.

The only thing I could think of is the the hands were A Chorus Line (I hope I get it) and that the jar was Sound of Music (how do you catch a moonbeam in your hand?)
I don't see how that jar has anything to do with A Chorus Line
SEASON PHOTOS EXPLAINED:
From Left to Right, Top to Bottom: A Chorus Line (God, I hope I get it), The Sound of Music (A drop of golden sun), Disney's The Little Mermaid (There are octopus tentacles on that thing-a-ma-bob), Thoroughly Modern Millie (A train ticket to Kansas) and Lend Me a Tenor (That is the Cleveland Opera House). Well done on the guesses!

A Chorus Line (God, I hope I get it), The Sound of Music (A drop of golden sun)
Fail!
That makes a little more sense, but it was definitely misleading. Perhaps a brown paper package tied up in string would have been too obvious, but what person would ever put their drop of golden sun into a jar? I mean, c'mon...
