Just a lot of the dancing. But still nice that they released footage.

I love the dance on this show. I don't know whether it was my computer but the video looks like they have been speed-up and ruined the beautiful dance.

Oh, I'm so happy to see this! The choreography was far and beyond my favorite part of this show.
Though... it looks bizarrely sped up, right? Is that just me? I thought it was YouTube being glitchy and that the video would end well before the audio, but it didn't. Am I imagining that??

Yup. The video is indeed sped up. Normal human speed is 24 frames per second. This looks to be 28-30 frames per second. Who approved this hilarious edit? Benny Hill?

The footage is definitely sped up. Appears to be a conscious choice. Looks absolutely ridiculous.

You can change the speed from "normal" to "0.75" and it looks a bit better (tempo for music will be slower though).

I first saw the B-Reel this morning on my facebook and it didn't SEEM to have this odd editing like the YT video does but now I can't find where I watched it from on facebook to confirm cus MAN it's like watching a loony toons episode in spots.

Broadway.com has it on their Facebook page (posted from the master, not from YouTube I assume), but it's the same sped up version. Surely that can't be on purpose.... ? Why would they do such a disservice to the choreography that they're trying to show off!

Maybe they thought it would make the choreography look more impressive? Like look how fast these human flawlessly do these jumps? Seems super weird though, Rudin is confusing.

I sent it to my mom this morning because she's been dying to see the choreo, and she said she couldn't even get through the whole thing because it was making her nauseated. I am hoping (maybe foolishly) that this was a mistake and that they'll be posting a mea culpa and the real version soon.

Why is it so sped up? I almost puked from motion sickness. (And partly from seeing those horrific costumes again.)

Nope. The one posted here on BWW is the same sped-up version. No human drops from a leap that fast unless they have 25 lbs of weight in their shoes. You can tell by the jerky movements its not in real-time speed.

I don't know what happened but the youtube version is a full twenty seconds longer than the BWW one, so it's definitely sped up.

I don't really get this move by Rudin. If you're gonna hold your ground, hold your ground. Carousel is fine at the box office.
Nonetheless, the choreo looks great, although a tad bit sped up. Can't wait for Peck to win the Tony in June.

That looks much better and actually works with the music now.

It may just be me, but it looks like the original on YouTube was taken down. I wonder if it was just a huge mistake or they realized how truly awful it was.

God, I hate this choreography.
Yes, they’re all talented dancers but there is ZERO storytelling through that movement. It’s all style, no substance.

It's beautiful but it gave away that the Carousel itself are the dancers.

Oh, bless you for posting this! Now I can watch this to my heart's content without feeling like I'm on an actual spinning carousel. :)

I love Carousel but after watching this I need a Dramamine.

It just looks like a dance class.
Are they doing a cast recording?
