That's a pretty lame promo."
Your commitment to cheap insults and perpetual negativity never ceases to be boring and unwarranted.

How is an opinion considered negative? If you consider it negative, that’s YOUR opinion.
And for the record, I also agree it’s a lame promo. Looks like a cheap cruise ship promo playing on the screens of a cruise ship casino to let passengers know they have a production of CHICAGO playing on the 3rd level main stage.

Here's the non edited full version of that. They could have done something better!

Nice is not a word to describe that. More like generic done on the cheap per Barry & Fran.

https://www.telecharge.com/Broadway/Chicago/Overview Charlotte D'Amboise returns as Roxie Hart. No word yet if the current Velma Kelly will extend. There are not "that" many Velmas who are available to begin with.

Kimberly Marable is doing a 6-month contract. She should be there until September.
I see the same usuals are back to jumping into the show this summer. Dyls Croman will return for just a week (6/5 - 6/11). Then Ryan Silverman is back as Billy and Evan Harrington as Amos.

Wow, that is very rare to have either a Roxie or Velma with a 6 month contract. Maybe the producers heard our pleas for a new Velma? ![]()

The current Mary Sunshine standby. R. Lowe must be going off on vacation. I'd assume Jayke Workman will be back as the temporary standby.

Girl, can you not be a Bitter B*tchy Betty for five seconds?
Not every casting post needs to be about stars coming into the show. Some people, like PLF, like to know who is coming in if they liked someone in the past, or to avoid the show if someone they didn’t like is back.
Personally, I’d find this thread useful to see if Amra comes back because she did such a terrible job at my performance, it nearly soured the whole thing (and that was with Jinkx!)

I don't think it's possible to get a name for Mary Sunshine unless they get one of RuPaul's girls to come in. And how many could actually sing the role?

Monet X Change is a classically trained opera singer as is, I believe, Sasha Velour - but wouldn’t getting a known Ru girl in the role take out the “surprise” that Mary Sunshine is really a jacked muscle daddy underneath?
NYC Queen Jasmine Rice LaBeija also sings opera

Simmer down girl. Pretty sure the people on this board are not tourists, and appreciate updates like this.

The current Amos is leaving the show after just a couple of months. What happened here? Was this just temporary coverage? His arrival announcement sounded like a long-term thing.

Everyone that was announced to be joining in April, excluding Marable, is leaving on June 10. Chicago rarely has any of the leads stay long-term now.
