I may be blind, but I don't see anything about My Fair Lady in that article.

I think AnnieBlack just meant HELLO, DOLLY into the Shubert.

Come Fly Away? Does she mean Come From Away?
Posted: 5/3/16 at 10:07pm
It says Hello Dolly, not My Fair Lady, is going into the Shubert.

Yes- my apologies- My Fair Lady seems to be on my mind tonight- thanks and post updated

I was thinking the same thing, Betty.

Here's hoping for War Paint! Love a Frankel and Korie score.

No word on "The Bandstand" yet, unfortunately. We'll see when more shows get the axe.

Yassss to DEAR EVAN HANSEN.... hope they fix end of act 1, and the issues in act 2... hello dolly in the shubert would be amazing! I guess my source was wrong about BRONX TALE nabbing that spot, but they were right about War Paint going to the nederlander... just goes to show how much can change in a day or two...
I also hope it's COME FROM AWAY which is a gorgeous and amazing musical which I went to a reading of... we really didn't even need the sinatra thing the first time...

More confirmation that a WAR PAINT transfer is likely a given. Some didn't think Patti's word was good enough.

Im assuming some wire got crossed and she meant Come From Away not Come Fly Away, because if anyone was dumb enough to remount that show they should be shot
Posted: 5/4/16 at 12:07am
But in the article she says "again" so she knew what she was talking about.
Posted: 5/4/16 at 12:43am
...or she thought she knew what she was talking about because she was told "Come From Away" and she dimly remembered a show called "Come Fly Away" that had been on Broadway and would be "again" when it returned (if it returned).

Come From Away is the 9/11 musical?
Posted: 5/4/16 at 10:04am
That's not even an article, that's just a list of show names.

Hmmm. I all ready knew about Hello Dolly at the Shubert, but I had heard the Scoenfeld was wanted for another Scott Rudin-produced play.

Looks like BWW just took their story down. Check the URL and cache to see why!

So they aren't expecting a long run for American Psycho? Interesting that she doesn't mention Miss Saigon, that's still on, right?

RentBoy86 asked: "Come From Away is the 9/11 musical?"
Sort of...it's about a small Canadian town that took in all of the passengers from planes that were forced to land in a nearby airport on 9/11.

I think this poor woman is past the bend.

Come on Cindy....

Her writing style is atrocious!
Another mistake (to add to the growing list…so take this article with a grain of salt) is that Sam Mendes is not directing Charlie. It's been widely reported (except to Ms. Adams apparently) that Jack O'Brien is taking over.
