Up until this morning, IBDB displayed incorrect information, listing the number of CFA performances as somewhere in the 1430 range. But it has now been updated to 1543 and if you count their number of performance weeks (and adjust for COVID cancellations, etc), the updated figure looks about right.
So the answer to this riddle is simply that IBDB is not always to be trusted. Congrats to CFA on this milestone!

I am grateful that we can all go back to being confused about other things now. ![]()

I am officially seeing Jenn’s final performance and the closing performance. Can’t wait to sob through both of them.

I do see this show touring for a long time. It's selling very well still. Even whenever it goes non-equity, I think it'll continue to do well.

Forgive me, but you seem really excited - is there some significance to July 20? Is it someone's last day?

I seem to recall that it will be this user’s first time seeing it on Broadway.

Caeser's last show is tomorrow. He's got another project lined up. How sad he won't be with the show through closing. It appears less and less likely the show extends even without anything [currently] lined up for the Schoenfeld.

From what I heard he booked this project before the closing was announced and was to return afterward.

Does anyone know who'll be the new Kevin J? My guess is they're promoting Josh Breckenridge, since they just brought in a new male standby, but I haven't seen anything official (or even unofficial)

No clue who's replacing Caesar. Might be someone from the Toronto cast or the tour.
A real shame they're not being allowed to extend until the end of the year even without anything booked at the Schoenfeld.

There is something booked in the Schoenfeld this fall. It should be announced early this week.

There's various mixed reports on if something is booked there or not.

There was something scheduled with, I believe Kevin Kline, however, it fell through now leaving the theatre dark until something gets announced for the spring.

2 things:
1. Take Me Out will return to Broadway this fall, this time playing at the Schoenfeld. Previews beginning October 27 for a limited 14 week engagement.
2. Rachel Tucker just posted on her Instagram story that her final performance is September 18th. I wonder if this means that Jenn might come back for the last couple weeks to close out the show?

Jenn Colella did a farewell video from her last performance. Doesn't seem likely she comes back. Maybe Becky closes the show? Or they may just have Julie Reiber close the show as Bev?

I heard Jenn was indeed coming back. But I didn't try to verify.

Jenn will indeed be closing the show. Josh Breckenridge will also be stepping into the show for the final two weeks as Kevin J/Ali. I'll be attending the show on Saturday and again on the closing show.

I wonder if Sharone Sayegh will return to the tour, or if she's leaving the show entirely. I think she might be my favorite of the 5 Bonnies I've seen
I'll miss this show a lot. I've probably seen it for the last time in person, (unless I take a road trip, or it keeps touring in 23-24 and comes back my way), but I'm so grateful we have the pro-shot. I think I'll hit play on that at 3pm on October 2nd.

I was lucky to have seen Sharone in both the tour in 2019 and Broadway this summer, and I absolutely adored her.
I can’t even put into words how much I’ll miss this musical. It’s been my absolute favorite since I first discovered it in 2017. I’ve seen 3 different productions - Toronto, tour, and most recently Broadway. NYC definitely won’t be the same without it.
If there is a silver lining though, I do think the closing does enhance the chance that it might tour to my city within the not-too-distant future. (We usually get the mostly non-equity tours of shows after they close on Broadway).

I think I'll have seen it 20 times after Saturday and the closing show. A true treasure and a gift to the theater community. I think this will have a long touring life and hopefully swings by the State Theater in New Brunswick, NJ in a year or so.

There's about a dozen premium seats just released today if anyone still is looking for a ticket to the closing show.
