She does sound great, but my Lord, the hooting and whooping after every otherlyric and the crazed applause before certain gags are even revealed - audiences are truly exhausting.
I partly blame TikTok ironically, which is where I heard it.
Enjoy the show and applaud / cheer when called for, by all means. But this PICK ME level of attention seeking is wild. Chill OUT."
Definitely annoying, but may unfortunately be a part of a popular performer going on in a role for the first time and having it annouced ahead of time so the audience is full of people primed for that. Caroline Bowman doesn't have nearly the following on TikTok, but when she went on as Norma in Sunset, the audience was also really annoying. (I think Rashidra Scott ended up going on before her announced planned debut due to Nicole calling out, so her first show was different and hard to compare.)

Lighten up, gurl.
December 26,27,28 are three two show days in a row.
I wonder if even the puppets in that workshop scene will still go on by the last show?

Several shows are doing a 6 show weekend for the holidays. Insane. Prepare for a lot of understudies that weekend.

Leave Paul Tazewell alone, you don’t know what he’s going through. Show him some grace!!!

I know you're doing a bit, but please try and do it better.
Do you think Paul Tazwell is making all of these outfits himself? Again, it goes back to the PRODUCTION being cheap on material and the pay/time they're giving those that actually do construct them.
ALSO....this is not a Paul Tazwell. It is only a place holder gown, apparently these gowns are very hard to reproduce and it takes a long time. Natalie said it was inhouse costume department that made this approved embellished placeholder gown this Natalie's is ready.

I’m not an idiot. I know that.
It was a JOKE, since the “cut them some slack” approach by some of you is so randomly and arbitrarily selective.
And if you want to get REALLY annoying and granular, you’re both spelling his name wrong.
Please try and do better.
There's so many threads I don't check regularly and when I do check back in, I'm shocked at how weird they have gotten...
They go from weird to fun to bitchy to scary then back to weird again.

I think thats kind of crazy that they're still waiting on it. I know Natalie has been primarily the Helen cover until now, but she's been understudying both of them since previews like 10 months ago. It no doubt takes time to build, but it doesn't take this much time to build. Its very much producers unwilling to spend the money.
When it comes time to do replacement casting, they'll probably make the final decisions on costume measurements at this point. I don't doubt the level of engineering and design involved, but the lack of investment/timeline for producing new copies is quite deflating.

Reminds me of those stories women who used to understudy elphaba would tell about going through callbacks, then reaching the point where the final choice came down to who fit into the act 2 dress.

It REALLY takes me back to this board when I first joined. And for that reason alone, I have to giggle.

All four main principals were on tonight.
If you're counting the other two principals who aren't above the title, Josh Lamon who plays Stephan is on vacation this week.
