Come join us on Monday night, December 6th at BIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street between 8th & 9th) at 9:30pm where we’ll be joining up with Jim Caruso for a very special Cast Party night. Cast Party is of course *the* place to be for entertainment on Monday nights with some of the brightest stars of Broadway and the cabaret world popping in to sing. (Think of it as an open mic night, but for talented people accompanied by Billy Strich on the piano).
On December 6th, we’ll be joining up with Cast Party inviting both members from the boards, as well as “vets” of our Front & Center and Standing Ovations concerts for the year to come join in the fun too.
No guarantees on who will be there, but what is guaranteed as always is lots of fun, and great entertainment. If you’re interested in singing that night, please email me at robert@broadwayworld.com, if not – still hope to see you there for plenty of surprises, and a perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
Rob

Uh OH! Now I HAVE to sing "The Music of the Night" for Rob!
This should be a blast, Jim Caruso is not only a wonderful host/party master, but his passion for creating a place for everyone to embrace the creative energy of New York is a inspiration. Cast Party is a dream come true for lovers of great talent and music.
And with Billy Strich on the piano it's "magic time"..
Now if I can only get Rob and Craig to do the "We Can Do It" number from The Producers it's gonna be a hit! See you there, and start warming up those pipes!

"Noah, someday we'll talk again. But there's things we'll never say. That sorrow deep inside you. It inside me, too. And it never go away. You be okay. You'll learn how to lose things..."
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I can't wait! I'm thrilled that Rob wants to celebrate the holidays and all of you at Cast Party! This will be such a great way to meet some of the folks on this board I haven't met! And I can't wait for Eddie's song. Oh Lord. Will there really be a half-mask involved? Eeek. Cast Party Site
I have to go for the prospect of Eddie singing Phantom of The Night!
This should be a lot fun. Thanks Rob. :)
"... Still a little bit of your taste in my mouth.
Still a little bit of you laced with my doubt. Still a little hard to say what's going on..." Damien Rice
I'm only coming if I can sing Think of Me two octaves higher.
And you think of all of the things you've seen, and you wish that you could live in between ,and you're back again only different than before...
After the Sky.
-Into the Woods (Jack)
When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing. - Moliere
I second the age question-if not than I might try to come.
David walked into the valley
With a stone clutched in his hand
He was only a boy
But he knew someone must take a stand
There will always be a valley
Always mountains one must scale
There will always be perilous waters
Which someone must sail
