I remember someone mentioning Chris Seiber.

I think Paul Vogt would make a good Shrek. He was a terrific Edna in Hairspray.

I just cannot imagine this musical actually working. All I can picture is something resembling those traveling Sesame Street shows. I'll have to wait and see the costuming for it. If they do something really stylized then maybe it won't seem so much like a children's show. Think Lion King, not Little Mermaid.

Well Danny Fogler is the poor man's Jack Black.

Balls of Fury anyone?

But, yes, I heard he passed.

If they want this show to run for years like the Disney shows, they will not be looking for a name to cast. They will cast someone who is easily replaceable, who won't be missed when he leaves the production.

I don't know about the designs?

Anyone have any inside sources?

Will it be outside the box? Or an attempt to look like the cartoon? What about Donkey? How will that design work?

Hmmmm.

Why not Randy Quaid? He might be a bit typecast in the part, but hey. He'd probably be cheap.
