I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

A while back, they had offered the role to Chris Sligh of American Idol fame (read that on his blog, frommymindtoyoureyes.com), but he had to turn it down because the readings were happening during the AI tour.
I just cannot imagine this musical actually working. All I can picture is something resembling those traveling Sesame Street shows. I'll have to wait and see the costuming for it. If they do something really stylized then maybe it won't seem so much like a children's show. Think Lion King, not Little Mermaid.
How about Bruce Vilanch? PS I hope they cast Jennifer Simard. I think she would be great! Jennifer would be great as the Queen.

If they want this show to run for years like the Disney shows, they will not be looking for a name to cast. They will cast someone who is easily replaceable, who won't be missed when he leaves the production.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

Why not Randy Quaid? He might be a bit typecast in the part, but hey. He'd probably be cheap.
