Saw it twice this past weekend.... I plan on going again and taking my mom and brother!
I hope Amy is truly okay... I loved Savannah and hopes she gets bumped up!

Hey all -
Can anyone tell me where the standing room 'seats' are located, and when the box office starts selling them?
Thanks!

Standing room are behind the last Orch seats.
There is a rail behind the last row.
Great view!
I think they only sell them when the show is sold out.

Congrats to Savannah Wise! What a great break for her.
I haven't seen her as Sherrie yet, but everyone I know that has seen her has loved her Sherrie.

Posted: 7/16/09 at 2:16pmQuestion: I am going to NYC this Saturday with a group of 6 and we want to see the matinee...how has the Lotto been lately and student rush?

The actors in Rock of Ages have to be some of the hardest working on Broadway.
Not only do they put in 8 shows each week with challenging vocals, they do a lot of publicity events (Swatch, TV and club appearances), as well as amazingly silly webisodes which are a lot of fun.
They really connect with their audience. Hope the show ends up a hit, it deserves to be.

Posted: 7/16/09 at 8:31pmAnyone else notice Amy Spanger on the premiere of Michael & Michael Have Issues yesterday? Maybe that had something to do with her departure from the show.

I think Amy Spanger had the right Idea
Get on a cast recording for a Broadway show get her name billed above the title on the poster
Stay for a few months then leave
lol
I hope she's ok Anyone know the real reason she left?

most people don't know that they do rush, and will only buy rush after lotto is over. and since will only sell rush after lotto is over, meaning at like 7, most people who are "rushing" already have tickets to other shows, since most other shows do their rush when the BO opens or 2 hours before curtain.
so no, from my experience, most people do not get there crazy early like other shows.

Posted: 7/18/09 at 12:51pmAhh, I am so excited! I have just bought my ticket to Rock of Ages for September 13 - Wesley's last show (essentially I am going to hear his magnificent falsetto before he disappears to Chicago). Full-price so my wallet is caning, but SO EXCITED. Now I just need to buy my plane ticket, haha...
