Do you think Bette would allow some bonus tracks with Donna on her cast album or maybe a separate EP for sale at Donna's performances?

Of course it's one of my favorite performers! And of course it's after my trip.  Might need to make a short Fall trip if she's still in it.   I'm assuming she's going in after the reviews and Tony Awards to avoid critics from reviewing it twice and comparing the 2 performers. Smart.  Still, I wish it was sooner so I coul dsee both of them. Ah well! Still great news.

ACL, according to the Huffington Post piece (or Playbill's, I forget), she is playing the role during Midler's vacation. It seems that Murphy will strictly play the role on Tuesdays and during her vacation. Will Midler have a stand by in addition to an understudy or just an understudy?

I assumed Linda Mugleston was the Understudy when I saw she was in the cast.  She was Murphy's Standby for Wonderful Town, too (and we know how that went).

Yeah she's not going to performing all may....because they aren't starting alternate performances until June.

i desperately want this as well but i doubt it will happen. God, just any new recordings of Donna singing anything would be welcome.

Maybe the reason the announcement came late was because she was offered War Paint and turned it down? Or the War Paint rumor got mixed up with Dolly somehow

The War Paint rumor was started by a child and never backed up by any credible source.
