Wow, lots of love for YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, XANADU & THE SLUG-BEARERS (of something I couldn't hear).
Did anything from THE HOMECOMING or THE SEAFARER get nominated? I couldn't hear several of the categories. I'm guessing IN THE HEIGHTS was nominated last year and wasn't eligible this time?
Good nominations.... Very happy for August: OC!!!!
I am loving these nominations!!!

Cry Baby better start editing their sign now!!
THE SLUG BEARERS OF KAYROL ISLAND, OR THE FRIENDS OF DR. RUSHLOWER played a critically acclaimed run at the Vineyard Off-Broadway.
Hopefully it will transfer to a commercial run.
Yay for Mary and Cheyenne and Xanadu!
And I'm pleasantly surprised for Sierra Boggess. She won't win, but yay for being nominated.
What no Sherie for Featured?
Mary Testa, but no Jackie Hoffman!
Boo for no Jackie or Kerry. Boo.
Is the category for Best Projection a new thing?
RyToast, I think their sign said "Drama League" not "Drama Desk."
So am I the only one with the gut feeling that A CATERED AFFAIR might take Best Musical?
12 nominations and it won't win for any of it's performances or it's technical aspects (it's just not big or grand enough)...
I think it's either going to win Best Musical randomly without too many other wins, or go home empty-handed. Sadly...
It's toughest competition at this point is PASSING STRANGE, I think.
They must not have nominated any individual cast members from The Homecoming because they got the ensemble nod. Which I guess is fair?
Yeah for Xanadu's nods! Go Mary Testa and Cheyenne Jackson! (Would've liked the co-nomination for Mary and Jackie, but I'll take the one for Mary!)
Disappointed for Kerry-she should've been nominated!
And Loretta Ables-Sayre should've been for South Pacific! She's really fantastic!
But go Xanadu!!!!!!!
Huzzah!
Wow, A Catered Affair and August:OC certainly racked up the noms. I wasn't expecting Sierra to be nominated for TLM. I'm also glad to see Xanadu get some recognition.

I'm so excited for all the nominations for The Slug Bearers of Kayrol Island. It was a very innovative show. And yeah for Bobby Steggert.
I guess Cry Baby will have to revise that poster that was out the other day.
I'm so happy that CRY BABY didn't get any nominations...and I know some of you are surprised by Kerry's snub, but she will likely get a Tony nomination.
Here's hoping for a Patti, Laura, and Boyd sweep!
I'm also very happy for the Glorious Ones Nominees, even though they probably won't win anything. At least their show was recognized.
Yay for Rufus!
Boo for Raul!
really no love for Kate Fleetwood? She was only the best thing in Macbeth.
Eve Best deserved a nomination.
I think it's a pretty safe guess at this point that the Tony nominations for Best Musical will be PASSING STRANGE, XANADU, A CATERED AFFAIR, & IN THE HEIGHTS. I'm wondering if A CATERED AFFAIR will actually end up winning the Drama Desk, since it's so far ahead of anything else in nominations.
I'm glad to see so much love for AUGUST & PASSING STRANGE!
Emcee, when a show wins Best Ensemble, they are all automatically ineligible for individual performance nominations.
Yay for Amy Morton!
