One has to wonder...in Into the Woods after they kill the giant AND the giant's wife, wouldn't the rest of the giant community get pissed and come down and the baker, cinderella, Little red, and Jack just constantly have to slay giants for the rest of their life.
All this to say, the wrong moral of Into the Woods is giants have family members and other connections you may have to take out as well

Posted: 3/25/21 at 1:53pmI think it’s intentionally ambiguous; the relationship described in Soliloquy is worded in a way that can be interpreted equally as a selfless pushover in a relationship with a needy guy, or as a pimp and his “bottom girl.”

I never assumed she was a prostitute, but I assumed she put out.

Well it’s worth noting, the only reason The Giant’s Wife was able to come down is because of the beanstalk accidentally planted by Cinderella.
The show actually does tease the possibility of another similar incident, as The Witch then plants many more beans during Last Midnight. The other characters then dig the beans out, but it’s never exactly said that they got all of them or not.
