"You're Not Sick, You're Just in Love," performed live with Russell Nype, on the Colgate Comedy Hour, December 1, 1955.
Thanks for posting. Glorious!
As if her vocal were not enough, watch how she works the skirt during the encore!
Funny, I saw her in the audience today at this afternoon's final Cherry Orchard performance.
No this is bad because now I just want more.
^THIS.
Holy crap that was brilliant.
She's kind of channeling Jimmy Durante there at the end. I don't know why, but it works.
Oh, dear God! That was brilliant. She sounds wonderful. I always love little video gems like this that people dig up from time to time.
That was brilliant, thanks so much for finding it! Great voice, great skirt.
What she does on the final "There is nothing you can take / To relieve that pleasant ache" is either genius or half a bottle of Scotch.
I LOVE how she shouts instead of belts, even back then.
I EFFING love her.

I like how Russell Nype has to also move the furniture and still isn't allowed to actually put his head on Stritch's shoulder.
PalJoey - I'm going to go with genius.
Here's another gem:
More Stritch
We need more video of Stritch! Young Stritch, old Stritch, drunk Stritch, sober Stritch...MORE STRITCH!
Here she is performing It's Today on a british variety show in the late 70s:
More Stritch
Someone had a half a bottle of Scotch before deciding she should perform this number:
Keep My Love Alive
In case you were wondering why Stritch was never in Chicago:
Jazz
I! DON'T! BRAY!
She's more interesting forgetting lyrics than most people are remembering them.
New Stritch
My God she looked like a drag queen in that All That Jazz clip! I love the Swim arm moves to! LOL!

WOW. Just.. WOW. Pure, raw talent. You either 'have it' or you don't.. and she HAS IT. You can't teach that. She's got more talent in her left pinky that most people dream of. LOVE HER.
