Does something move in immediately for the Fall? The Notebook?
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I feel Notebook would want a smaller, much more intimate house. What about that rumored Spamalot transfer from the Kennedy Center everyone was talking about for a hot minute? Unless the Shubert's want that show back in one of their houses.
Kennedy Center's SPAMALOT is going into a Shubert house.

Got it. Makes sense. I haven't the faintest clue what could be next. Would Disney want to reclaim the venue? Maybe that long-awaited Beauty and the Beast revival opening around the holiday season?

In the thread for Days of Wine and Roses, there was talk of the show going into the Lyceum in the fall. Could be a limited engagement leaving the theater available in the spring.

No. Notebook will go somewhere MAX 1300 seats. It probably has the Jacobs or the Schoenfeld.
FWIW (and I know here not much) Sweaty Oracle says it's Spamalot. Whether it's Spamalot or not, I agree that it'll be a revival. I think the three "biggest" new musicals for this season are all already in performances. Maybe there's something I'm missing (and there's always room for a surprise), but most of the rumored new musicals are much smaller in scale. The revivals are all bigger.
EDIT: I see I'm behind the discussion. Got distracted while writing this and came back without checking for further developments. I do still think the St. James will get a revival, even if it's not Spamalot.
Oh, if they could bring Almeida's Streetcar to Broadway, the Longacre would be perfect for that! Still keeping my fingers crossed! Especially as Paul Mescal's schedule has opened up due to the strikes!
The idea is to work and to experiment. Some things will be creatively successful, some things will succeed at the box office, and some things will only - which is the biggest only - teach you things that see the future. And they're probably as valuable as any of your successes. -Harold Prince
There seems to be a lull in the number of jukebox shows coming in. Of all the shows opened, announced or rumored to be coming in this season, only OUAOMT is a jukebox show. The rest have original scores. That's good news.
An Oliver revival? No thanks, this season has enough revivals planned.
