The Drowsy Chaperone
It's so unexpected and hilarious.
Traditionally and quality-wise, "Together, Wherever We Go" from Gypsy
Also "Revolutionary Costume" from Grey Gardens

The Life of the Party from The Wild Party (Lippa), because it's a show stopper and one of my favorites by Idina.

The second version of the Dreams Las Vegas Medley from DREAMGIRLS.
Bennett re-worked it for the LA production and then it was used for the Broadway production and has been used ever since.

'Whipped Into Shape' is the most energetic opening number I can think of.
I quite like 'Sunrise' from ITH, it's pretty.

To the tune of “The Famer and the Cowman”
Oh, the actors and the dancers should be friends
Oh, the actors and the dancers should be friends
One man likes to read a play
The other likes to tour-jeté
But that’s no reason why they can’t be friends

While I LOVE the Drowsy Chaperone, and Message From A Nightingale, the show is one act with no intermission, so I don't think it should be included. I apologize for nitpicking.

Thanks madbrian! I saw the show and I was like "what was the act 2 opener...?" But my favs would have to be "It's Hot Up Here" (Sunday In the Park) and "Seasons Of Love" (RENT), and a guilty pleasure would be the opening parts of Mamma Mia. I love the loud orchestra bang.
