is it just me or are there less Broadway people year after year?
i mean, i know it could change, but still. A lot of soap people.
though excited about Chris March. Wish his time slot was earlier though.

The list will be revided half a dozen times before the event.
I don't know if this has been posted already, but it's $25 to go through the line at the autograph table, not $20. Also, this year, it's $10 per photo with just one celebrity, and at least $40 per photo for a picture with 2 or more celebrities.

"The list is for the photos also."
These celebrities will be there for both autographs AND photos during that said hour? So instead of going through the whole line for autographs, I can get a photo with one person during the hour they're scheduled to be there (they'll stop signing autographs at the table for a second to take a picture in the photo booth)?
At the photo booth a volunteer takes requests from people and when they get a good demand for someone, that person goes from the autograph table to the photo booth for a few minutes, and then goes back to the table. Anyone online at the autograph table who wants something signed from the person called away can wait for them to return to get their autographs.

Here is how it works:
During each of the hours of the Celebrity Table, you will be able to make a request for who you want at the photo booth. Through that hour, the people with the most requests will be brought to the photo booth.
While they are at the booth, ther won't be signing at the table. You can request to wait at the table until they return if you want them to sign. I have also been told you can get the person at the booth to sign your poster while you are there for a picture (I have never had to do that).
In addition, they will have several "premium" photo booth opportunities. These are the ones with two or more people listed for $40 and up. They had several of these last year with only one individual however. I suspect they will have a few of these again this year.
To give you an idea of what this means, here are the premium photo ops from last year:
Frankie Valli
Sir Ian McKellan
Lea Michele, Jonathan Groff and John Gallagher Jr.
Max Crumm and Laura Osnes
Vanessa, Lynn, and Corin Redgrave
and
Bernadette Peters (as seen on the left).
Looking at the list so far, I am willing to bet that one of the premiums this year will be Mandy Gonzalez, Karen Olivo and Andrea Burns from In The Heights.
One more thing. If you are in the autograph line, you can get out of it to get a picture. Just let one of the volunteers know you want to go to the photo booth. When you are done, they will put you back into the autograph line where you were.
This works out really well for me, as I will be taking advantage of EVERY photo booth opportunity this year, and hopefully be going through the autograph line every hour.
Another thing about the requests---if there is someone that doesn't get a lot of photo requests, offer more money. For example, if you are the only one who requests Jane Doe, and you would just L-O-V-E to have a picture with her (she's your absolute FAVORITE), offer $25.00. Remember, this is a charitable event.
And while there are a lot of soap people here, it says a lot that they are willing to give of their time for such a worthy cause---Love them for that!!

i love the soap people. i'm happy one life to live people are there because it's my favorite soap, even though there seems to be the least amount of them :[ oh well.
But getting a picture with someone isn't always guaranteed if they're aren't enough requests? Would my best bet be to pay the $25 and go down the whole line and hope that my favorite star gets enough requests and goes to the photo booth and then if he/she does, go get a picture with them for another $10?
Guess I'll just see when I get there. Thanks to everyone for explaining this!

Does anyone know how much they sell signed posters and playbills for? I contacted BCEFA about this but the lady who responded was unsure of what was going on with the event...just trying to figure out how much $$$ I should bring.

That's pretty much it legally_popular.
An example of this is Paige Davis. I requested her the last two years, and she didn't get enough requests to end up at the booth.
Here's to hoping she is added to this year's celebrity table.
legally_popular, there are no guarentees with the photos, other than to offer more money and hope for the best. I've done that a few times, and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't (I learn more each year, lol). If you were only going to go through the autograph line for one person, try offering that at the photo booth.
musicman_bwayfan, if you are talking about the Playbills and posters that individual shows have at their tables, the Playbills can go for $20 and up, the posters for $60 and up.
I hope it doesn't rain Sunday. Would we know ahead of time if they postpone it?

The lineup is a little underwhelming compared to years past.
I hope they add Janet Dacal and do a photo op with her, Karen, Mandy, Andrea and Priscilla. Other then them, and a few of the soap stars, I should be saving a lot of money.
They will add plenty! I have to make sure I save enough for my Playbill yearbook (shouldn't be a problem!!!)
I've won tickets at one of the booths in the past, but I give them away---since I don't live in NYC, I'm restricted to when I can see something!

Welcome to all the first-timers and veterans to the Broadway Flea Market! Please allow me to shamelessly shill for something that'll be sold there: Applause Video will be selling a DVD of 'The Leading Men III' benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This soldout concert was held April 21 at Birdland, and hosted by John Tartaglia, with musical direction by Seth Rudetsky. It starred a lot of great guys from Broadway and cabaret: Tom Andersen, Skylar Astin, David Burnham, Jim Caruso, Jonathan Groff, Aaron Lazar, Norm Lewis, Michael McElroy, Skie Ocasio, Aaron Ramey, Robb Sapp, Benjamin Schrader, Christopher Sieber, Marcus Simeone, Bobby Steggert and Jim Walton.
Among the various highlights:
* Michael McElroy, 'Let It Sing' from 'Violet'
* Jonathan Groff, 'Try Me' from 'She Loves Me'
* Seth Rudetsky, deconstructing Tyne Daly's 'Gypsy'
* John Tartaglia, 'Taylor, the Latte Boy'
* Jim Walton, 'Not a Day Goes By' from 'Merrily'
* Norm Lewis, 'Before the Parade Passes By' from 'Hello, Dolly!'
Applause Video also will sell DVDs from 'Broadway Bares,' 'Easter Bonnet,' 'Gypsy of the Year'; they're all $25 apiece, and all proceeds will go to Broadway Cares.

Sold!!!
Wayman_Wong, that dvd sounds fabulous, and I've earmarked some of my cash for it!
Since there's an official rain date, I was wondering how / when it is decided that the event cannot take place? If there's just a little drizzle? Only if it pours? Do they always wait until the day of to make the final decision?

When is the rain date?

Thanks, Magdalene. Now those are the kind of earmarks we like!
I forgot to mention one thing: If any of you love autographs, we've got only a few 'Leading Men III' posters left, signed by the cast: $100 each. This is from an original batch of only 12, so these are collectors' items. Plus, that's less than $6 a signature, so it's a bargain, and it all goes to charity. They'll be at the Applause Video table.
